This country scares me more an more. The Boston police department received a breaking and entering report at Mr Gates house and a patrol was sent to investigate. Instead of cooperating with the police officer, Mr Gates (supposedly a highly educated, extremely intelligent mature black American?) becomes irate and acts the FOOL and the police officer is to blame, just because he's a white man??? I don't think so...Boston Police Department needs to realize the whole country is watching and they better NOT force the officer to apologize for doing his job unless he failed to do his job and then he needs to be fired. I don't believe in appeasement and I sure don't condone it just because a "highly educated, extremely intelligent black American" is questioned by a white police officer and takes exception to it. Wonder how it would have turned out if a black police officer had been sent.
