Obama In Kentucky And West Virginia: Why Will He Lose?

Moderators: Please don't delete this

A more important question...why is the Dem party about to nominate someone that is not getting the core voters? If you ever look at Repub blogs you'd see that they are jumping with glee at the thought of having Obama as the Dem nominee.

They know HRC is a stronger candidate to go against McCain. Although you love Obama because he is the one to bring change, do you really think that 51% of Americans will vote for him? He is seen as inexperienced, soft on terror and possibly having anti-American views (by connection to Rev Wright). Unfortunately for Obama supporters you need some "Rednecks" to vote for him too.

Remember how close 2000 and 2004 were? Every 1% makes a big difference. posted 05/12/2008 at 18:38:31

Read Repub blogs once in a while. They're dancing with glee that Obama is going to be the nominee. They think HRC would be a stronger candidate to go against McCain. posted 05/12/2008 at 14:28:44

Whether you like it or not millions of Dems have voted for HRC and believe in her.

All this mean-spiritedness coming from Obama's side is not helpful. If they truly want unity they should be respectful of Hillary and not try to push her out of this campaign.

Maybe she wants to go out on a big win, like with KY or WV. Or maybe something big will slip up Obama.

I heard a bad rumor, that I won't repeat, about Obama. If it ever sees the light of day, he'd be finished.

It's true that he hasn't really been vetted and may not be ready for a general election.

Though I must say I was very surprised at his numbers last Tuesday even after Rev Wright. Seems like many Dems don't even care about Wright. I don't think that's true for most Repubs and Indies though. posted 05/09/2008 at 18:01:31
