For the past two presidential cycles, Beverly Rivera Davis has been the U.S. Correspondent for PROFIL, Austria's top weekly newsmagazine, and continues filing for several European newspapers, as well as reporting for the Des Moines Business Record. A native Iowan and experienced political journalist, Ms. Davis has been on the campaign trail in Iowa since June; talking with supporters, potential supporters, campaign staffers, national and local media, and candidates. While not quite 'off-the-bus' she is most definitely 'outside-the-beltway'. Her first book, David & Liz, Dancing through Love, a double memoir of the late David Kruidenier, the former CEO of Cowles Media, formerly owners of one of the largest media companies in the country, and Elizabeth Kruidenier, feminist, civil rights activist and attorney, will be published December 12, 2007.
