I've been voting since McGovern ran. I'm with everyone else in that we need to elect someone that has the desire to get this train wreck of a nation back on track. I spent years protesting wars and awful, debilitating bills that were to be sneakily passed on page 1,567 of some other bill.

For those of us that have the desire to be in the know and make a difference- PLEASE- we must dust off the files in our brains and remember our American Govt studies to group together and make some needed changes in our current circus of a political process!

McCains Defaulted On Home Taxes For Last Four Years, Newsweek Reports

You're right. He is a typical social climber and they would more upset about missing something on their social calendar than doing something like paying taxes on their little place in Big Sur (which may even be burning down as we write these!)
I've met the McCain's at a party in Phoenix and they rub shoulders with the elite republicans that have loads of money and want to protect it. It's very sad because money dictates all these people's lives in every way. From the moment they wake in the morning, 'til they turn out the light at night.
What amazes me are all the little, measley Republicans that make minimum wage! LOL! The Neanderthals sitting in the stands behind him when McBush gives his speeches. These uninformed need to hang out with these financial predators for just one evening to be privvy to their mindless, void of spirit cocktail discussions about all their homes and investments. posted 06/28/2008 at 21:19:11

Serenity Lost: Obama And The Netroots

You can believe that if Obama is doing something or not doing something, there is a specific reason for it. He's managed to jump through all the hoops the dirtiest politicians on the planet put him through. He also has the best consultants working for him around the clock and the American public supporting his cause for big Change.
Barack doesn't belong to or hang out with the Yalies of Skull & Bones fame- the members of groups like the Trilateral Commission, CFR like the Bush's and the Clinton's.
For Barack, it's that stiff, gradual, uphill climb that we see as his burden and we admire him for doing it for us.
Read Jan Wenner's endorsement in RollingStone http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/story/19106551/a_new_hope
The article will show you that it was discovered by months of research that Obama is driven by doing what is right and conducting himself like the sure and steadyTortoise for 3 years now
(Hillary being the Hare in the race by thinking that she just needed a quick 25 mil from pharmaceutical & oil companies and the out-sourcing lobbyists to pop that crown on her head and seat her on the throne) posted 06/25/2008 at 15:47:58

Hollywood Turns Out For Obama Fundraiser

J L Mealer- Do you know what GOOGLE is and how to use it? Before you suggest things for others, maybe you should try it some time.
http://www.barackobama.com/issues/economy/
while you're there reading about how to fix the economy you can click on ISSUES and read about how other plans are to be put into place.

You seem a little naive or possibly senile, but all the rest of us remember McCain being quoted at many campaign stops that he really doesn't have an economic plan- that that was not his area of expertise. posted 06/25/2008 at 19:09:25

The Science Of Bad Boys (POLL)

Women have this desire to be desired and ravaged. The Bad Boy will grab what he wants and women like that. Women have hormonal moments of their own that allow these guys into their lives- some realistically and some dellusionally. There's a big difference between falling in 'lust' and falling in 'love'.
We're just being Bad Girl's ourselves when we get all dressed up and go out dancing for a 'girl's night out'. We know what we're doing. We're going fishing for a 'Bad Boy'. We put on extra war paint, tease the hair a little more, put on the red high heels, that one bra that pushes up with the top that is a little more revealing. We go out on Thursday's 'Ladie's Night' when the Cosmo's are 2 for 1 and dance provocatively. It works 9 times out of 10 :-)
Now what would we do without those boys? Girl's night out would become a thing of the past. posted 06/23/2008 at 17:25:56

Waiting For Obama: The First Global Election

Hey 'Beer Doctor'
You've had way too many cases :-)
The World IS watching. I have friends in many South & Central American countries, the Caribbean, Europe, Australia, Scandinavia, Lebanon and S Africa. They all feel that OBAMA has the right ideas when it comes to foreign relations. He'll talk to everyone... as it should be.
This article is not so much an opinion piece, but rather a reflection of what Mr. Shearer has observed, or did you not get that? posted 06/19/2008 at 21:23:25
