I'll tell you what the real deal is. That tape was what the Clinton camp told Bob Novak last year they had on Obama. Since the Clintons had the majority of the black votes from polling data, they were not willing to risk it. They sent out Geraldine Ferraro to make the statements she made to raise the ante and then released the chopped and screw video and didn't come close to it publicly. When Obama gave that speech, Hillary knew it was basically the end of her campaign. Nobody comes back from something like that. One more thing, Bill Clinton used his canadian connections to get the Nafta story into the media over in Canada. That crap tripped Ohio over to Hillary. People forget that the media was pro-clinton for most of last year. She thought it was a coronation in waiting. People also forget that the media has been complacent in keeping Clinton in the race after her series of losses. They were also instrumental in playing the 3:00am ad over and over again, not to talk about not investigating Nafta gate properly. If I recollect, it was only about a week ago that the media was licking their chops waiting for Obama's implosion from the Rev Wright's stuff. It was supposed to be the biggest implosion in political history. ABC played that chopped up video. Nobody questioned how ABC got the video and who parsed it out to those few soundbites?

Nah, you're the freaking liar. What he said was that he never heard Rev Wright say those specific words that were being shown on TV. He also said in his one on one conversations with the Rev he'd never used such terms with him. Now he did add that he has heard Rev Wright say controversial stuff before. Each one of this statements are plausibly true. He wasn't at Church when the Rev said the stuff in the Video, The Rev knows better than to use any derogatory words with Obama in their one on one conversations, however, the Rev has been known to mouth off controversial stuff.

Get it right, majority of the folks in NM did not vote gfor Hillary. It was less than 1% difference b/w Obama and Hillary. That's why it took 2 weeks to resolve and call the race. Obama still picked more delgates than Hillary from NM.

Here's what's pissing the Clintons off. The fact that someone so close to them rejects them, is a narative they don't want to be out there. If Richardson was really down with the Clintons, he would have endorsed them right away. He almost destroyed his career trying to defend Bill Clinton during the Lewensky scandal. He knows first hand how evil the Clintons are, only out for themselves and putting everybody else though their self created hell. That's fine. It doens't make you less of a person, neither does it make you more of a person. Basically, all the man is doing is sharing his faith with everyone in a respectful manner. Humans are driven by faith in general. That's why we sit on chairs without checking to see if it's sturdy enough. That's why we purchase bottled water from known brands and assume it's clean without running all kinds of test to determine it's purity.

That's also why we that believe, belive in Jesus Christ. We took a leap of faith, based on convictions and for most of us, our faith has been rewarded based on our personal experiences with our religious beliefs. That would also apply to people of other religions.

Just like it's highly inappropriate for a Christian to degrade other religions and those that do not believe in God, it's also highly inappropriate for non-believers and people of other faiths to degrade Christianity. that's the essence of tolerance and free speech. We can disagree without being disagreeable, and we can have this dialogue about faith, while being respective of other people's creed. posted 03/25/2008 at 15:43:14

one thing that wasn't pointed out by the author is that not only did the government withhold treatment, they also did not tell the men they had the disease. Hence, the men were unable to tell what they had and if it was infectious. Think about how many people had gotten infected based on the government's destructive tendencies. Let's also add that if the government willfully used this men as guinea pigs and watched the disease progress in them until they died a slow painful death, I don't see what inhibits the goverment from injecting uninfected men with syphillis.

The point is you can't prove that the goverment didn't inject black men with syphillis, they've only admitted to the experiments. So for the author to start trying to equivate some moral equvalence is simplhy shameful posted 03/23/2008 at 00:07:33
