Our Nation started voting for the bright shiny wrappers the last two elections and I hold higher hopes that lessons have been learned. I heard on the radio the other day that out of stubbornness we are voting against our own best interest. How stupid is that? If you look around though it's hard to dispute...we "elected" (or did we) the last "you know what" in a shiny wrapper twice. posted 04/29/2008 at 12:13:56

Clinton Attacks McCain Over Wright Ad

Obama really needs to reconsider that debate. He has a lot people that voted for him that wish that they could take their vote back. They aren't noisy yet but they are starting to feel pretty taken in. He's not doing much to make that feeling go away. posted 04/28/2008 at 17:40:17

Don't Be Fooled: Obama Is Actually Leading Hillary By 1-2 Million Votes

Oh, and throw in Michigan and Florida, because like it or not...even if they don't get to count on paper, they are still Americans, and we ALL still know they loom in the air even if some choose to ignore them because it suits their agenda. Without their votes...it's another stolen election...kinda like how we got the president we have now. posted 04/11/2008 at 21:38:19

Clinton: Popular Vote Count Must Include Florida, Michigan

Don't you find it just little curious that he wants everyone to have a voice...unless of course....it helps him out not to? Here in this case, well lets just split the delegates...to hell with the people. It's the politicians that got them into this mess to begin with. NOT the people....so punish them? Hmmm what could his motif be? He is NO different than any other politician everyone wants to hold him so much higher than. He wants to win by suppressing two states voters. Shameful. Don't say it was because they broke the rules...they did...and they found a way BY THE RULES to be counted. Obama is the only holdout. So...who really is the bad guy here? posted 04/06/2008 at 01:22:25

No Re-Vote In Michigan A Blow To Clinton

Without the revote...there will always be BIG FAT QUESTION looming in everyones mind...Did he really win it? It's not not like those votes just "go away" because they are not legally counted. We all know they are there. We have one president that got the TOP JOB this way....now we may get TWO. How proud. It might be different but there is a way to "by the rules" let these people be counted. It was there politicians that screwed them out the vote...they shouldn't be punished or "SUPPRESSED" from voting in their own countries elections. posted 04/06/2008 at 01:45:35

Could the Republicans Pick the Democratic Nominee? -- The Untold Story of How the GOP Rigged Florida and Michigan

The truth is that the popular vote is needed in this race to decide who runs. Neither candidate has enough to clinch the nomination. The popular vote is the voice of the people and they are not who made this mess, the politicians are. Splitting the delegate vote, is not how earned votes for these candidates. If goes the way it is now, we have a nominee with nagging cloud that they got there by leaving out millions of voters when there was a way to count them. Why would you do this? posted 03/31/2008 at 13:16:19

Should Obama Drop Out of the Race?

The truth is, the whole country will be counted, and again, not REALLY be counted. We once again will end up with a count that we HAVE TO LIVE WITH knowing what the TRUTH is. No Hillary should not get out and No Obama should not get out. Even though legally they are not going to count Michigan and Florida, pretending DOES NOT MAKE THEM GO AWAY. As Americans we should figure them in anyway. Bush was happy with a White House won that way...do we really want to go there again? posted 03/31/2008 at 00:53:38

Solving ClintObamaDean-gate in Michi-Florida

The popular vote is what should count here...the people are NOT who is at fault here...the politicians are who made the mess. Let the PEOPLE have their vote. The only reason everyone sees this is as such a problem is because they assume they KNOW the outcome already or there wouldn't be a problem. Count the popular vote...again...the PEOPLE didn't cause it...the politicians did...and after all, it will be their president too, so why would anyone want to win an election knowing it was two states short. Sad. posted 03/28/2008 at 22:57:05

Michigan January 15 Primary Ruled Unconstitutional, But No Re-vote Ordered

Do you really think that Americans will forget that two States totals for the popular vote are missing in the end? Do you think that because a judge says not to count them that the world will not the truth? Especially when counting them is the right thing to do....the American thing to do....and it wasn't their fault to begin with. If nobody "thought" they knew what the outcome would be...there wouldn't be a problem. Everyone says the longer Obama is on the trail the better he does...well...he should have the advantage now....prove it! Not just because of that...because it's the right thing to do or the winner will be two States Hollow anyway....If the votes are two states short....it's incomplete....kind of like the what we have been stuck with the last 8 years. I thought we were through with elections like that. posted 03/31/2008 at 16:39:58

Is Hillary Positioning for 2012?

Obama Not Giving Up Pennsylvania: Reports from Obama donors say he's suggested that a ten-point loss would still be a victory, but publicly he hasn't given up on the state yet:

David Axelrod, Obama's chief political strategist, told reporters on a conference call this morning that the campaign would go all out to win the Keystone State. "We are gong to contest vigorously in Pennsylvania," he said. "We're going to be running a full campaign."

Obama heads tomorrow to Monaca, Pa., west of Pittsburgh, and then to Scranton, where he will address an Irish women's group. Both are located in the heart of Clinton territory. The state's older, blue-collar voter base skews against Obama, but another problem is Pennsylvania's relatively strict participation rules. Primary voters must register as Democrats as of March 24, nearly a full month before election day. Obama is running radio ads in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia to urge students, independents and Republicans -- three key constituencies to keep the race close -- to register as Democrats before the deadline.

Obama Expands The Voter Rolls: The biggest challenge for Barack Obama may come as early as March 24th. That's the date by which voters must file to change their registration in order to vote in the April 22nd primary. Since Pennsylvania is a closed primary, Obama is hoping to get as many independents and Republicans as possible to switch their registration: posted 03/24/2008 at 00:33:51
Seems you could use a couple anger management classes yourself! To say Hillary cares nothing of those States is ludicrous. Clock her hours in both. BEFORE this campaign. If you want to go into it, what about the deal they made NOT to campaign in Florida? Seems Obama bought cable ads on the line right above Florida that just so happened northern Florida picked up. That was brilliant on his part, he is not dumb. As far a Rush....I can't comment, I have not heard any of that...it could be a fairy tale. This party is going self destruct and we probably wont have to worry about it anyway. Why are you so angry about these people getting their vote? They didn't cause it, politicians did. posted 03/23/2008 at 03:28:01
And they all agreed to have a revote....and the Obama campaign is the holdout. posted 03/23/2008 at 02:59:06
It is a race for the most votes to "win". That is what this whole process is about. It is the same reason Obama wants the voters suppressed, because he wants to "win". It is not the "voters" fault that the "rule makers" screwed them out of their voices. Now Obama wants to screw them again! posted 03/23/2008 at 02:57:14
Everyone agreed to do the a revote but the Obama campaign was against it. He is willing to seat the delegates but refuses the revote. I am like you though....I thought the whole thing was for "We the People" to vote. I was really surprised it was Obama that nixed the whole thing. Voter suppression is voter suppression no matter how you do it if you have a way to people a vote. posted 03/23/2008 at 02:12:38
The sad thing is that he is a good man but if the example of the way our country has behaved in the last few weeks is any indication of what it would be like to have him as a president...NO THANKS. I thought long and hard on who to vote for and I have to tell you not once did race enter my mind. It does now. Our country is in huge mess because of the Bully we have had in office for the last 8 years. No one could disagree without fear of being jobless, forced to retire, or God only knows what else....and those thoughts are quite scary. We have a HUGE mess to clean up. HUGE. The sideshow the last few weeks has done nothing but divide us, anger us, exhaust us, distract us, and make us say things about people in our own party that are unspeakable. If this is any indication of 4 years of his presidency forget it. If you disagree and get labeled as racist, or you have to tiptoe around because or have fingers wagging in your face all the time like is happening on the streets between Dems now....we DON'T need it. We have managed to make a very good man make US look very ugly. NOT the other way around. The sad truth is...we don't have time to deal with that while we have George Bush problems to clean up. We have family members in Iraq, our country is falling apart around our ears, health care problems, people being kicked out of their homes, so you see...4 years of sideshows with someone you are dealing with nothing but distractions like these is NOT even THINKABLE. posted 03/23/2008 at 01:45:30

Another Bill Clinton Moment On The Campaign Trail

Maybe he simply meant that no matter who the two people left running in the end, they could just keep with the issues and not the muck. This last few weeks has been all about the muck....and not about the issues for everybody. When he said two people......in the General Election that is all there is. Two people.

Our country is in a big fat mess. We have just spent the last 8 years with a president that you can't disagree with because he is Bully. This next presidency is so important. If this is what is going to look like for the next 4 years NO THANK YOU OBAMA. If you can't disagree with a man without riots in the streets and being called a racist we don't need him. It's sad too because he is a good man. We have a lot of damage control to do from The Bully leaving and no time to waste with the sideshow. I am not saying race relations is in any way not important, but I think our kids that are in Iraq deserve first attention, our infrastructure, etc...This other stuff....since it has bubbled up, has exhausted everyone...distracted everyone, angered everyone, divided everyone, and has proven exactly what the next 4 years will look like. posted 03/22/2008 at 21:34:20

Obama's Church Pushes Controversial Doctrines

What is so nagging is that his young children are exposed to this and how do you go home and undo what they learn in church? Obama Endorsed By Bill Richardson

But don't you find it ironic that they were given the opportunity to vote, and the only one that said "NO" was the Obama campaign? The very one that says he wants every voice heard and voice counted? Now that they are given the opportunity....he only the delegates split up. You talk about double speak...he is no better than the politicians he proclaims to be different than. posted 03/23/2008 at 01:14:30
Obama is a candidate that wants the people to have their voices heard and their votes counted....not just the Supers.....THE people. Oh....wait....unless of course you are talking about about Michigan and Florida. There...the delegate count is good....and the people should shut up and sit down. Bill Richardson is a Super.....let's count him. He voted the way his State voted because after all, Obama says that is the FAIR way it should be done.....Oh wait.......New Mexico went to Clinton, my bad......maybe Richardson is making a career move........No, Richardson IS making a career move. He just threw New Mexico under that bus he has been talking about. posted 03/22/2008 at 20:45:16
