Our Nation started voting for the bright shiny wrappers the last two elections and I hold higher hopes that lessons have been learned. I heard on the radio the other day that out of stubbornness we are voting against our own best interest. How stupid is that? Without the revote...there will always be BIG FAT QUESTION looming in everyones mind...Did he really win it? It's not not like those votes just "go away" because they are not legally counted. The truth is that the popular vote is needed in this race to decide who runs. Neither candidate has enough to clinch the nomination. The popular vote is the voice of the people and they are not who made this mess, the politicians are. Splitting the delegate vote, is not how earned votes for these candidates. The popular vote is what should count here...the people are NOT who is at fault here...the politicians are who made the mess. Let the PEOPLE have their vote. The only reason everyone sees this is as such a problem is because they assume they KNOW the outcome already or there wouldn't be a problem. Do you really think that Americans will forget that two States totals for the popular vote are missing in the end? The sad thing is that he is a good man but if the example of the way our country has behaved in the last few weeks is any indication of what it would be like to have him as a president...NO THANKS. I thought long and hard on who to vote for and I have to tell you not once did race enter my mind. It does now. Our country is in huge mess because of the Bully we have had in office for the last 8 years. No one could disagree without fear of being jobless, forced to retire, or God only knows what else....and those thoughts are quite scary. We have a HUGE mess to clean up. HUGE. The sideshow the last few weeks has done nothing but divide us, anger us, exhaust us, distract us, and make us say things about people in our own party that are unspeakable. If this is any indication of 4 years of his presidency forget it.
