Being Gracious in a Sexist World

I am sure that in 2004 there were people who were upset to see Al Sharpton lose the nomination. These people probably figured they would never live to see a black man be president and thought that racism was the primary reason. How foolish these people must feel now that Obama won the Democratic nomination just four years later.

I suggest you save this post re-read it in four or eight years. I am sure there will be another legitimate female candidate for president. This candidate will be someone who can actually inspire (rather than exploit) you and will not come with all of the bagage of Hillary Clinton.
