Obama-Bloomberg Ticket? MSNBC Points Out Potential

I just listened to Obamas speech and also just read your view of his possible picks for VP and staff.
I am still not 100% sure of your VP choice but I absolutely would love to see all of the others except possibly Colin Powell. I was a fan of his and thought he was a very honorable man until he became a "mouth piece" for the Bush/Cheney war.
No matter who Obama chooses, I hope people do not let the Rev. Wright story distract them from voting for the only one running, in my opinion , who can unite this country and work with Democrats and Republicans.
I live in Indiana and am looking forward to our May election. Hillary was here in our town and I am hoping Senator Obama will consider coming here. I think he would be well received and Indiana is a traditionally Republican State. posted 03/27/2008 at 12:03:09

Cheney Greets King Abdullah In SaudiLand With High Fives As Oil Sails Past $100 Per Barrel

When I read something like this I am so glad I did not vote for this administration either time. People are loosing their homes, can't afford to heat them and can't afford to put gas in their cars and these people are getting rich!
This is not even considering how many great people have lost their lives fighting over there to protect the oil for all of these "poor" people.
Weapons of mass destruction?? I think maybe the weapons were the two top men sitting in the White House.
Does anyone actually believe they care about the middle class?
If it was up to them or John McCain gets elected, we will be losing more and more of the so called middle class.
And the tax breaks for the rich, well "how"s that working for you"? Isn't that what we used to call "trickle down economics?" I do not have a degree in economics, but these $600.00 checks the government is sending out to some of us is almost a joke.
That is if you consider how much all these CEO's have made and that the $600.00 will hardly cover most peoples house payment or rent. Aren't they suppose to be able to go out and spend it and recirculate it?
Didn't Mr. Bush reccomend to go out shopping? I guess that is if you have a car, a job or can afford the gas to go! posted 03/27/2008 at 16:29:14

Poll: Pastor Controversy Hasn't Hurt Obama

I am so tired of hearing the name Rev. Wright. There is obviously a lot of both good and bad with the man. President Clinton has had his picture taken with him along with having him as part of the Prayer Breakfast. He has also been endorsed by several other ministers and received several awards.
He also has said a lot or maybe a few very offensive things.
I am not defending him. Some of the things that he said were wrong and unpatriotic. I was never there, but I am sure he also said a lot of good things.
There were at least 8,000 other people who attended the church and overlooked some of the "not so nice' things that were said.
I just hope people do not judge Obama because he attended this church. and obviously saw some good in the man.
I don't beleive 100% in "guilt by association".
If that were the case there would be a lot of people who had no friends! "Judge let not ye be judged"........I am not a bible thumper, but I do believe that is in the bible. posted 03/27/2008 at 12:24:22
