I have had the unfortunate personal experience of seeing someone I knew well have a serious health issue (heart attack, near-death, coma, and eventual recovery). It can often "blow a chip" in someones head and literally change their personality (often for the worse). And even worse than that, the person in question often isn't even aware they are behaving differently.
Just my opinion, but I suspect that is what's happened to Clinton.
Simply put, in Hollywood prison guard-speak:

I think Bill Clinton's cheese has "done slipped off his cracker."

Obama can apologize if he wants to, but nothing is going to fix the chip that has obviously blown in Bill Clinton's head. In a way it's kind of sad. People are finally overcoming their fear of being unjustly painted with the "anti-semitic" brush for mentioning the " I-word " in reference to Senator Lieberman.
While I support Israel's right to exist and support America's duty to help defend Israel if they were to come under an unprovoked attack from any hostile nation(s), I also believe if you could hook Joe Lieberman up to a polygraph and ask him which country he loves & considers himself a citizen of, the true answer would NOT be the U.S. I think Lieberman believes in the Likkud-like philosophy that Israel can do no wrong, has a right to build settlements anywhere they like, and that the USA must blindly, unilaterally and without question support and militarily defend Israel in any scenario at any cost.

This is also why Lieberman is a Democrat in name only and has crossed over to the Republican unilteral neocon side of foreign policy, and also why he has a problem with Obama and Obama's policy of the necessary establishment of a Palistinian state and their right to (also like Israel) exist in peace.

I'll hear shouts of "Israel-hater" and "anti-semite" from the usual suspects. But this topic needs to be dialogued more honestly and often in the open by American citizens who, like me, support Israel, but put America's welfare first. All network news outlets are flawed in one way or another - including HuffPost.

Fox however takes the cake imo.

It's one thing for MSNBC to "appear" to cheer Obama (I agree);
and another for CNN to slant the other way;

I suspect John Edwards has not stepped up to support either candidate because it would take huevos and a commitment on his part. As much as I despise and detest her, it's possible Ann Coulter's analysis of John Edwards was, though a lowlife slur, spot-on accurate. At least Richardon has a pair.

Sometimes it is a shame to be a Democrat. At a time when the party needs leadership, Dean, Pelosi, Edwards, and even Al Gore (gasp!!) remain effectively mum (ok, Pelosi DID say we should honor delegates).
