David Brooks Praises ABC, Debate, Because He Lacks The Good Sense God Gave A Box Of Tulip Bulbs, Apparently

Brooks is like Thomas Friedman. A bad writer with a tendency to talk down to his readers while at the same time being quite lite in his understanding of issues. He, like Friedman, writes from an ethnocentric point of view, does not take in information, and simply puts out the conservative line. I honestly believe his column is actually read by a very few people. He is totally irrelevant. posted 04/17/2008 at 14:04:46
Ha, don't make me laugh. The stuff that the GOP can sling at him in the fall is nothing compared to what they will use on Old Hill. I think she sealed her fate with the Big Bosnia Lie and she clung to her stupid explanation last night on the debate. She wrote about it accurately in her book and then she sort of, what, forgot how it really was and then convinced herself that she and her only child and a rock singer and a comedian had to run under sniper fire. Don't think anyone is stupid enough to buy this. But she thinks we are. Her credability is about where LBJ's was when he decided not to run again. If there are any trons around they are Hillatrons. posted 04/17/2008 at 14:00:45

Aliza Shvarts' Insists Miscarriage Art Project Is Real

This is simply a form of self-mutilation. If Yale actually awards her a degree on the basis of the "art project" they will be an "enabler" to a very seriously ill young woman who needs "an intervention." It is sad. I have a feeling that she was probably "a cutter" before this. As an artist myself I enjoy many conceptual art pieces but this is totally outside of the realm of ART. I hope she gets some help soon and that this has no future health consequences if she choses some day to have a child. posted 04/17/2008 at 13:14:45

Obama's "Small Town" Superdelegate Endorsement

The big LOSER was clearly ABC as George S had no business being a moderator since he was part of the Clinton White House and Gibson is a dufus, Don't think Old Hill's 'performance' will help her with the Super Delegates. She could be seen clinging to her spin on the sniper fire she did or did not endure and said "yes, yes, yes" when asked if Obama could be president. I don't consider that winning "hands down." More like losing with a whimper. posted 04/17/2008 at 11:47:54
For what it is worth, the Drudge Poll (?!) says Obama won substantially. But it was hardly a debate. I swear Old Hill said "you know" about a thousand times. We do know Hill, and that is why we think you are dryer lint. posted 04/17/2008 at 11:19:57

George Stephenopoulos worked in the Clinton White House. Somehow it is hard to wrap your mind around how he was a moderator in this debate. He was the one who asked the most arcane cheezy questions. ABC is clearly having some kind of meltdown. Remember it was George who sat there like a lox whilst Hadley said Nepal when he should have said Tibet. Eight effing times and George sat there like a shampoo model. This will wake people up. posted 04/16/2008 at 23:50:54

They did not ask 'tough' questions. They asked stupid questions. George S seems to be back on the Clinton payroll as he was in the Clinton White House. How in the world did ABC think he could moderate this debate? He is not even a journalist. I think he flushed his reputation last night. Hillary Clinton On Southern Working Class Whites In 1995: "Screw 'Em"

The debate is over now. I watched all of it. Bush Speaks About His Concerns Over Rush To Fix Global Warming

McCain has two completely incompatible ideas. That you can do something about global warming and continue to finance a war machine and insure the supply of oil to the US through military means. Anyone who still does not see that our presence in Iraq is all about oil is simply too lazy to have studied the issue. Or to stupid to process the information. He is right however that even if Global Warming is not caused by man it is made worse by the emissions our industries put into the air. And our transportation. The good news is that whoever of the three become president the issue will finally be addressed. It is a total mystery why Chimp Face is flapping his jowls about it now. Wesley Clark for VP!

Remember, It was Biden who predicted Iraq will eventually revert to Kurd, Sunni, and Shia confederated states. The dream of a functioning democratic state of "Iraq" is a pipe dream. This is what the Bushies are holding out for and it defies logic. Iraq was an artificial state that could only be held together by a dictator (for awhile he was OUR friendly dictator.) Wes Clark may be a nice man with a nice smile and a nice family but he is out of his league in today's world. Obama/Biden would work in the real world today. posted 04/13/2008 at 15:08:06

If you are so attached to the "nice smile" thing then Biden fits the bill. He has the foreign policy experience some people think Obama lacks and would be a real asset to the ticket. You'll be drenched to the bone.
If your time to you
Is worth savin'
Then you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin'.

Come writers and critics
Who prophesize with your pen
And keep your eyes wide
The chance won't come again
And don't speak too soon
For the wheel's still in spin
And there's no tellin' who
That it's namin'.
For the loser now
Will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin'.

Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don't stand in the doorway
Don't block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
There's a battle outside
And it is ragin'.
It'll soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin'.

The line it is drawn
The curse it is cast
The slow one now
Will later be fast
As the present now
Will later be past
The order is
Rapidly fadin'.
And the first one now
Will later be last
For the times they are a-changin'." posted 04/08/2008 at 01:32:11
Let me guess. A woman of a certain age. Embittered feminist. Identifies with the martyr/victim persona of Old Hill and is scared to death of aging. So, you have abandoned hope and are going for the bogus "help" Old Hill is offering. Good luck, really. posted 04/08/2008 at 01:24:33

Mark Penn Speaks (In Private): Will Still Advise Clintons, Calms Nervous Aides

I believe Mark Penn has been paid 10M by Clinton, yet she is stiffing a public university. Typical behavior that we have come to expect from her. posted 04/08/2008 at 13:12:16
Clinton Campaign Owes UC Davis Money
Campus May Turn Debt Over To Collection Agency
Reporting
Steve Large
DAVIS (CBS13) • Bill Clinton may have charmed the crowd at UC Davis in January, when 7500 people showed up to see him, but charm has not covered the Clinton campaign bill.

The University of California in Davis is ready to take the Clinton presidential campaign to a collection agency if they do not pay back the thousands of dollars they are still owed.

Here's a breakdown of expenses:

- The UC Davis Marching Band cost $500.
- Cleanup services after the rally cost $250.
- UC Davis Police officers didn't come as cheap. The security bill is more than $5,600.

"I'm more than willing to be held accountable for it, because that's the way life is," Hillary Clinton said to a Montana crowd on Monday. There is no word whether she'll apply that philosophy here, or if she even knows about the outstanding debt.

Her Sacramento campaign office closed its doors after Super Tuesday, and her campaign spokespeople didn't return my calls.

UC Davis is planning to put its final bill out this week, and if the debt has not been settled within a month, they are going to turn the matter over to a collection agency.

An Issue of Legitimacy and Democracy

One thing you cannot get away from. Obama is living up to the agreement and Old Hill and Old Bill are not. They went into the race KNOWING and AGREEING that MI and FLA delegates would not be seated. But they are "special" and as they prove over and over the "rules" do not apply to them. Voters and Super Delegates are watching as they have sandbox tantrums. Sorry, governor, but I think you need to rethink your position on this. posted 04/07/2008 at 11:24:13

Mark Penn Resigns As Chief Strategist For Clinton Campaign

Old Hill's supporters just may stay home for the coming primaries. They certainly must be shaking their heads in disbelief at the incompetent turn Old Hill's campaign has taken lately. She needs a compass but I think after Bosnia and now this it is probably too late. Oh, and then there is Terry McAuliffe posing with an Obama sign with 3 different individuals. Old Hill is surrounded by men who do not seem to take her very seriously despite Old Bill's red faced scowl and finger pointing. Will she have the grace to leave the race with dignity? Probably not! posted 04/07/2008 at 12:18:03
Forget about sticking a fork in it...Old Hill's campaign is so done it is falling off the bone. Her chief strategist working for legislation she opposes? More proof she is not in charge, will not be ready on day one and would be a total disaster as president and commander in chief. She would be the front behind which the men, led by Bill, would be running things. Clinton redux? No! posted 04/06/2008 at 19:34:48

GOP Strategist: Condoleezza Rice Campaigning For VP Slot

She has stated she wants to return to Stanford where she was once Provost. I think there will be a big stink on campus when that day comes. posted 04/06/2008 at 19:44:34
Obama is going to be the next president of the United States. I hope McCrazy picks Condi. She is just as much a nutcase as he is. That will make it easier for Obama. Kay Bailey Hutchinson actually would be an ok VP because if McCrazy was elected and croaked in office she would be the first woman president. Hillary would go totally insane in this scenario. posted 04/06/2008 at 19:43:28
