I'm starting a family :) My wife and I are expecting a little girl in April of 2009, we are so close to meeting her - it is Feb 18 as I write. I'm a political junkie, but I am beginning to completely burn out on the whole taking sides aspect during discussions. I would rather find common ground in a dispute between GOP and Dems. I would rather not have the entirety of the Dems ideals trump the GOP's, and vice/versa. I am registered Dem. And, I am fed up with the GOP. I currently think they are doing a huge disservice to our Country. And, I think the past 8 years speaks for itself. Still, I feel stupid when I blast a GOP talking point just because it came from a GOP. In summary, I would love some common ground between the two parties. Please!
My profile picture shows me in the dugout during a game where I was 0-3 and mired in a 2 week long slump. I play baseball in a men's 25+ league. I also LOVE wine, as I'm smack dab in the middle of the wine country of California. So let's see: I love my wife, my young family, baseball, wine. Oh, and politics! :)
