Obama Vows To Expand Bush's Faith-Based Programs

This may be the straw that broke the camels back. He's just another panderer, using my tax dollars to do it. SAD! SAD! SAD! posted 07/01/2008 at 10:34:49

McClellan To Testify Before Judiciary Committee

Scott McClellan may be the 'patriot' we have been waiting for. Someone willing to speak 'Truth to Power'. The Right Wing 'talking heads' have done enough damage. It's time for 'patriotic Americans, Democrats and Republicans' to demand justice. posted 06/10/2008 at 08:43:51

Oil Chiefs Say High Prices Not Our Fault

It's not their fault? What a bunch of shit! I can't believe they can say it with a straight face! I can't believe Congress buys the shit. My guess is they buy the shit, because they have been bought. Money talks, Americans walk, because we can"t afford the gas. Does it matter to Congress? HELL NO, they have guaranteed health care, pension for life. Why would they bite the hands of the ones who feed them?

Next they can have the financial industry crooks who ruined our housing industry in to tell them it"s not their fault. Living large doesn"t come easy, it"s haaard! They have to pillage our futures now, they may not have this opportunity again. Who would have thunk it? In just 7 years our futures have been stolen and no one is held accountable. No shame for anyone, it"s not their fault? What a backward society we have become? Accountability is a thing of the past! It's not their fault? LOL posted 04/02/2008 at 06:39:18

The Paulson Plan: Doing What He Wanted To Do Anyway

We have seen this administrations response to concerns of citizens about Iraq, (SO), What are they going to say after they destroy our economy? (SO) -- and laugh all the way to the bank. Their leadership has gotten us into this mess. We are months away from new leadership, why let this administration change things now? We need to face our financial problems, not find new ways to cover them up.

Hagel: 'Arrogance, Incompetence' Fuel Bush's Run To War

Hagel has not had a magnaminous change of heart, he has spoken out throughout the war! Google Chuck Hagel on youtube.com, he has been speaking for me (a Democrat) for years. He has voiced his decent since the start, mainstream media just doesn't cover what he says. posted 03/30/2008 at 23:19:15
I'm sorry, but your comments about Chuck Hagel being included with George W. on this war is wrong. Chuck Hagel stood up on the Senate Floor and called all the ones supporting the war out. Take a look at this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZCeUhLkGto
There are many videos of Chuck Hagel on youtube.com. I don't think you'll find one of him supporting George W., or the war in Iraq. posted 03/30/2008 at 23:15:55
In case you missed these:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBL8hFFyE0o " Chuck Hagel with Jack Cafferty
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSJuYEhGw94 " Chuck Hagel on Real Time with Bill Maher
Chuck Hagel has been speaking out against the war on numerous occasions. I thought his comments on Real Time with Bill Maher would be news,it wasn't. Britney got more coverage for driving her car in sun glasses. Mainstream media only focus on Republicans who follow George W. and their views of the war. Mainstream media are war cheerleaders, not representative of actual views of the war. They silence critics by not covering their decent. I"m a Democrat, but I applaud Republicans who are willing to stand up for America first and party second. posted 03/30/2008 at 23:07:53

Why I Was Right About Iraq

Oh, I feel so much better. We paid for the bombs that destroyed their country, now we are paying for rebuilding it. We will be paying for years to come.

Great stories about the country being rebuilt avoid the conversation about why they need to rebuild at the expense of every American and our grandchildren. The war profiteers have aquired great wealth for their grandchildren. All the money spent on this war and the aftermath should not be taken lightly. The same ones that started the war are the same ones who have profitted? Halliburton, ring a bell? posted 03/30/2008 at 12:42:05
Americans need to stand up now, to get these war criminals to stand down! John Conyers stated that if George W. goes to war with Iran, he will call for Impeachment. I say too little, too late! We (he) need to stand up now! After the bombs start falling on Iran, it will be too late to stand up. We may need to "Duck and cover"! Russia has said "War with Iran" means war with them? Get the picture? These guys could start WORLD WAR III. They have not been held accountable for what they have done to Iraq, what makes anyone think they will be afraid of John Conyers after they bomb Iran? posted 03/30/2008 at 09:37:27
Jane, while I agree 100% about Iraq, we have a new more pressing battle. IRAN! IRAN! IRAN!
Americans who cried out before we went into Iraq were ignored, made to appear un-patriotic now face a new challenge. How are we going to stop their next war? Mainstream media were co-conspirators in the lead up to war with Iraq and now they are silent about plans for Iran.

Some scary stuff I found at opednews.com
Saudi Newspaper: Prepare for radioactive fallout from US nuclear attack on Iran
by Richard Clark

According to Chris Floyd at the Empire Burlesque web site:
The Saudi government is now preparing plans to deal with "any sudden nuclear and radioactive hazards" that may arise from an attack on Iran's nuclear reactors. This was reported by a top Saudi newspaper, Okaz, and relayed by a leading German news service, DPA -- one day after Dick Cheney paid a visit to the kingdom. As we noted, no one knows exactly what was said at that confab of allied authoritarians -- but something sure lit a fire under the Saudis, and convinced them that urgent action is needed to brace for the lethal overspill from a strike on Iran.
Floyd points out that nothing in Saudi Arabia becomes the top news story without government approval. That such a story should be released the day after Cheney's visit, sends a message to everyone about what"s on Cheney's mind. posted 03/30/2008 at 09:36:03

Mayhem At Fox News: Anchor Walks Off Set, Wallace Rails Network For "Obama-Bashing"

Americans need to start demanding accountability! Fact over spin, not spin and fact spun as equal!
We as consumers and viewers have the power of the purse!
Networks news survive via sponsors!
Sponsors survive via US!
Money is getting tight, sponsors can't afford to choose politics over profit for long! Money could talk, propaganda should walk. Bring back accountability, using the power of the purse. posted 03/21/2008 at 20:42:02

Bill O'Reilly Needs to Enroll in "Understanding the Internet 101"

Sounds like Bill O did his troll act live. Many times when I see negative comments, I wonder if Bill O or one of his friends is posting to instigate liberal bloggers?

I used to blog on Jerry Springer's Air America blog. Then I found out he had trolls planted, to incite people. I stopped blogging as soon as I found out the conversation was staged and not honest dialog. I had enjoyed the conversation until I found out it wasn't a conversation, it was a sham.

I enjoy the exchange with people from both sides of the political spectrum. I often wonder what makes the neocons tick? Trolls are another issue. I greatly dislike trolls, they have no message other the disrupting the conversation.
