I am a Dem...and we should not be over taxing the oil companies. If we do this, then we should charge higher taxes on GM, Ford etc for making trucks that get crappy milage. Oh and we should tax MCDonalds more too...because they sell crap as well. The bottom line is we cannot tax the oil companies more just because we don't like to prices.
