Game, Set, Match: North Carolina and Indiana Settled the Democratic Nomination

Barack wins yet another state where there are two groups of people that vote basically democrat --blacks and college professors and this is some how the home run hit? North Carolina and most of the other states he's won will NOT go dem in the general. I don't think this is anything but more of the same... I think if he doesn't start appealling to some one more than the Dukakis minority we're going to see Prez John McCain. I'm still waiting to hear him say something of substance in speeches and better yet, debates. I'm tired of seeing the Democratic party keep sending up candidates that have no choice of winning in the general election. I voted for Dukkakis, Kerry ... all those folks that I knew would never win in the middle of the country and still we keep doing it. When does the party stop drinking the politically correct koolaid and actually go for some one the majority of people will vote for? Wish Obama was the top dog on SCOTUS, but I don't see this man as presidential material at all and I don't see him winning my swing state in the fall. posted 05/07/2008 at 11:48:15

Hillary's New Inevitability

What exactly are the chances that most of the states obam gets votes in will actually go democrat? Let's see, Alabama? Mississippi? Nebraska? Louisiana? You can say what ever you want about Obama's wins, but they are states that have no chance of going into his column in the fall. He's winning states that he would not win in November and he's loosing states to Hillary that he HAS to win in November. He will not win Florida, he will not will PA, he will not win Ohio, all of these are key to winning in November. I have no idea why the democratic party continues to putforth candidates with no hope of winning the general election ... Obama will join his rightful place in lost history with the likes of Dukkakis, Kerrey, McGovern .. you cannot wina general election with blacks, students, and latte liberals.
