Dr. Manel Silva is the Director of the New York Local Action Network of the National Physicians Alliance, a multi-disciplinary physician organization dedicated to restoring the core values of our profession: service, intergrity and advocacy. She is also the co-founder of TruthAIDS, a non-profit HIV prevention organization, and is the director of their Be Girls Camp in collaboration with the Children's Aid Society. She is currently completing her Adolescent Medicine fellowship at the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center. Prior to her career in medicine, she started her public health career, and has worked locally and internationally.
