I sympathize. They have censored my comments on at least 3 occasions. There was nothing remotely questionable about the comments accept they were pro-Clinton. I guess that just not acceptable around here.

What I find so hard to understand is the mind of the typical Obama supporter. He's left of center so you'd figure they would be as well. Yet they behave like extreme right-wingers. They don't want to talk policy. Instead they attack the Clintons, their daughter, now Senator Clinton's mother, and of course anyone who isn't an Obama supporter. Before you spend the money give the media a little bit of time to dig. Everyone bought the million little pieces guy and the Twana Braley (sic - sorry I can't think of the correct way to spell her name) stories as well. Both have been debunked along with thousands of other similar stories.

Have you ever been the victim of a crime? I have been twice. My wallet was stolen and a few years before that my house was broken into. So I'm sorry if I don't share your warm and fuzzy concerns about criminals. I have to check my credit situation on a monthly basis to ensure that no one is using my ID to credit/mortgages under my name. I'm terrified of being pulled over for a routine traffic violation and finding out that someone used my ID when they were arrested. And before you say that is an extremely unlikely scenario - it happened to someone I know. She found out when a criminal background check for a job came back showing arrests. She was initially denied the job and she had to spend weeks getting it straightened out with the police department. She had to be fingerprinted so that they could compare the prints of the person arrested against hers. Very scary stuff. posted 04/06/2008 at 20:56:51

Re Wright, "By many people's definitions, he CAN'T be racist". Those people should probably look the word up in a dictionary rather than making up their own meaning. The Reverend subscribes characteristics to an entire group of people based on their race. What else would you call that?

By race-baiting Obama's campaign ensured they would get the media on their side. It made the coverage hot; and it ensured the reporters didn't have to do any pesky work (like reading policy statements and verifying the numbers). Finally, what reporter was going to ask Obama a tough question and risk being labeled a racist? I don"t know a lot about Plouffe but I"m interested in his previous campaigns. First, you think you can tell people that they should leave their spouses, and now you and your WISE mother can tell people going through depression that they have options. Depression is a very real medical condition, often rooted in chemical imbalances. I sincerely hope that you are never faced with the any of the challenges that so many others have faced.
