I'm retired. My pension comes from the twenty-two years I spent teaching, but I've had lots of jobs. I was born in Minnesota and spent my first seventeen years on my father's farm. Since then I've done every thing from farm labor to sawmill work. I worked about six years for the Oregon Public Welfare Division and I've been a commercial fisherman, logger, grocery clerk, Coast Guardsman, construction worker, many others, and finally, a teacher.
