Disillusioned but hopeful progressive 60 plus grown up from leftie/hippie/anti-war 70's just trying to do my best to counteract the creeping ignorance in our society (and God help me, in my family).
Gave up on church when congregations decided that they were political parties instead of keepers of the light of humanity.
Repulsed by political parties that became evangical churches instead of guardians of peace and public welfare.
Exhausted by "sell your soul to show a profit this quarter" corporate world career by sheer greed but working hard every day to build housing, support restoration and repurposing of historic landmarks and bring beauty to my own small town.
Low tolerance for ignorance. Value the courage of conviction.
