GLOBALISATIONisBARBARISM

America needs to come to its senses. Germany and Europe (my homestead) too.

We are a dying culture. The 'Aquarian Age' is doomed.

Only in Christ is help; yet not in the church.

Lord, have mercy on us.

Op-Ed: McCain's Global Warming Selective Memory

I am less optimistic for the "progressive American", of course. For he/she is an inveterate believer in political correctness and the way to tackle real problems by symbolic gestures. posted 05/15/2008 at 10:35:09
No, this is no hypocrisy, ... sorrily.

This is the open declaration of war to the "human pox", which is "desecrating" the lovely face of "mother earth".

Don't believe? Then answer please, for starters, what have in common:

a) "bomb, bomb, bomb Iran" --- [i.e. igniting World War III] and
b) "end our addiction to oil" [i.e. (since it's not planned to start an Apollo program for real new energy sources, from nuclear to solar) wasting foodstuff in the tanks of the rich while the human race STARVES in the unfolding global commodity inflation] ??!!

Ah, yes, we see. But it's not possible, of course, to state this in public, since war critics must be tree-huggers. Nothing against trees, for that matter (which, by the way LOVE carbon dioxide), but we live on industries and fertile lands, not green meadows and icebergs. (which, btw. no. 2 are back too: http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=8583 )

Perhaps, there is a slight chance, the average American will let this dawn upon him/her once depression strikes in earnest after the elections. posted 05/15/2008 at 10:31:16

Meet The De Rothschild Trying To Save The World By Exploring It

People just can't handle the truth.

Celebrity trash "news" trump every real concern. Everything normal so far.

Though, in my youth, barely two decades ago, I would never have dreamt how eager modern, "enlightened" people would prove to straightly return to the darkest of feudal, superstitious middle ages. Boy, how naive I was.

I am still trying to accept the daily shower of insanities from the "news outlets" as some kind of comeuppance for such blithe sentiments and hope against hope that God will grant us spoiled and brainwashed Westerners an END to our global domination, soon. In order that we may start coming to our senses. posted 05/14/2008 at 16:34:44

Hillary's Chances: Growing Chorus Says It's Not Going To Happen

This, indeed, is more than a typical Washington insider - apart from campagin rhetorics - would ever dream of considering a service to the country.

Boy, "usoa", you're so right. Politics, these days, is so full of corruption, it infects nearly every thought that at first seems to be normal. posted 05/10/2008 at 12:04:54
Even though I'm no American let me give you an answer. (You may dismiss it, therefore, in case you find it dull, irrelevant or anything.)

What appears to me is that your request would, most probably, be all but immediately fulfilled if Hillary Clinton saw the signs and withdrew. Now!

Better still if she withdrew with explicit revocation of her former intimations that her supporters might be felt inclined to prefer a hugger of Bush and all that he represents (including the dirtiest of his wars) to a fellow Democrat.

I see and (guess go along with many Americans to) hale that you, personally, want to be more loyal than Hillary Clinton implied her (typical) supporters are. But even in issuing this request " which I truly hope will be fulfilled " you are (still!) first and foremost concerned with your sentiments, rather than with the plight your nation (not to speak of the world) has been brought into by eight years of Bush/Cheney, with at least partial support from Hillary Clinton.

A long way to go, America. It's hard to be an "ex-superpower in the making" ...

US diplomat: 100,000 may have died in Myanmar cyclone (PHOTOS)

But then, why do I talk? Time and time again it seems, people just can't handle the truth.

Just yearning that out of one hundred efforts, one might be reaping a response of a person saying that HE/SHE is different, he/she started to thing (anew) and kicked start to a process of changing one's thinking, overcoming one's prejudices.

For all those interested enough in a personal confession: This process (related to the issue of GW) with me took place only two years ago. And HOW happy I am about it, now. Of course, you see even more human idiocy around than you'd have come to suspect from a "mainstream leftist opposition" viewpoint. But finally, once you have digested this new load of (unsuspected) revelation of human foolishness, you delve to fresh air. Sweeter like anything you'd have suspected to find, in case you're really sincere in hating our present "value system".

You realize that insanity is truly without excuse, for it's "not in our stars" (i.e. the physics of the earth's atmosphere), but in ourselves where our mortal fault (save repentance and conversion) lies. posted 05/10/2008 at 11:11:03
Thanks, localman, for giving us a dose of reality, once more. Somehow the intellectual atmosphere is getting oppressive about that. (I'd call it a cultural climate catastrophe.)

No, apart from jesting, and sincerely: For anyone open-minded enough to try giving an alternative viewpoint a frank consideration, I'd recommend this video:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8147337841241405073&q=Global+Warming+or+Global+Governance&ei=TbEdSNKLL5-w4QLh2cDQAQ

(Google: "Global Warming or Global Governance")

Compared with "The Great Global Warming Swindle" (which I not recommended!) it has a great advantage in broader perspective and less (if any) polemicism. Though it still clings too much to a specifically U.S.-centered national sovereignty value system.

And in case anyone of you is gone so far as to be infurated at anything that may smack of apologism for the "American Way of Life", with its squandering of natural resources, I hale your sentiments, but I beg ONE MOMENT: Please look into THIS ARTICLE, and learn WHOSE water you are carrying in case you buy into the new hype of "Global Warming", the new mantra to replace the (thus far alleged) need to fight a thing called "Global Terrorism".

F. William Engdahl is a longstanding critic of the whole politics of oil imperialism that has shaped and barbarized global political strategies for over one century .

Bush: General Petraeus "Will Have All The Time He Needs"

Yes, I will take your advice. bush and cheney really qualify for "full-spectrum opposition".

They are scum, by objective standards. Whoever feels feels cute, cool or "Christian" to remonstrate against such a "strong sentiment" - it IS no sentiment, by the way, but a very conscious decision to uphold a moral outlook when dealing with politics - has a serious problem with reality.

Unfortunately a very common problem, indeed.

Thanks for reminding us, oilwars, that "civilized behavior" is not always an achievement. At least NOT when dealing with persons who have consistently acted as the (intended) gravediggers of any civilized form of collective human life.

bush, step down! This is the only "Christian" advice which anyone can give to you. In case there is a spark of humanity within you, which could possible justify some qualm of treating you with the appropriate non-respect, in case you once started out as a human being, your "evangelical" "friends" lost your soul. By their cowardice to not tell you the truth.

Thank then when you see them in hell. posted 04/10/2008 at 11:33:35

Greenspan: Economy In Recession

Amen to that. Yet what is the constitution to any of these people, - a scrap of paper, at best.

It could scarcely become more obvious that all of America's leaders, today, are TRAITORS, - or abettors of traitors, at the very least.

This is no opinion, BUT A FACT, - (by any reasonable definition of 'traitor').

It rests upon the American people to draw their conclusions from this fact. posted 04/09/2008 at 12:11:49

"It is unfair to hold his Fed to task for the housing bubble or ..."

We know, already. It is "unfair" to hold anyone responsible for their own mistakes. There is a class born to be held responsible for anyone's sins, preferably not their own: Working America (some dare call it underclass)

Good God gracious, can this get ever more obvious?! posted 04/09/2008 at 10:16:24
Mission accomplished.

Boy, this person always thought, talked and acted as ghoulish as he looks like. How can anyone not see it? (It's the same as with Bush's stupidity or Clinton's caring-in-talk-only meantality: Some pervasive features of a character DO imprint themselves in your face, once you have passed a certain age. This man, meanwhile, has the face which he deserves. But why do I talk: America seems to be crying at the top of their lungs: Give us more, fuck us up until we bust! -- Yes, bust you will.) posted 04/09/2008 at 10:11:30

Greenspan: Blaming Me For Mortgage Mess Is "Quite Unfair"

Spot on, GOP.

Besides, every new scene of this (seemingly never-ending) spew-and-gobble show, the master briefing his faithful idolat... , em - admirers - is as ghastly as the guy himself. What about him being AntiChrist, you know, the beast which was dead and comes to "life" again, to rule the world for the ultimate spell of perversity?

(And for those wailing we're not constructive, go do your homework folks. Read the series about the "Financial Tsunami" from F. William Engdahl - http://www.engdahl.oilgeopolitics.net/ - and sh. u. until you have a grasp of what real role Greenspan fulfilled, ever was intended for, and still goes on fulfilling with you gullibles.) posted 04/11/2008 at 03:08:41

Brazil To Bush: Fix Your Economic Crisis

Would it be too rude for me to say, "yeah, you're right, friend, but why, for God's sake, are you placing communism on the evil side of the currently unfolding totalitarianism?"

After all, corporatism and NWO financial elitism is socialism for the rich, i.e., enclosing all the evils of communism (better: socialism), but none of its (initially at least partially good) ideals. This is the worst of both alloyed.

Can we suspect that as long as Americans have not soundly renounced their compromised and now completely defiled claims to a moral high ground, as long the rush to the conditions you describe is and will remain unstoppable.

(And, by the way, I am not by these words exonerating, justifying or even so much as partially defending communism/socialism against any of the strictures that might legitimately forwarded against it, - which, on the contrary I too accept -, but I am just saying that the CORPORATISM IS EVEN WORSE.

Can Americans, in their woes to come, grasp this?) posted 03/31/2008 at 03:19:09

Obama-Bloomberg Ticket? MSNBC Points Out Potential

As "MSNBC points out Potential", Joe and Jane America - HOPEFULLY! - remember that MSNBC just like Bloomberg himself is just an element in the network of those financial interests, misnamed "elites", who are about ruining this country, impoverishing the (former) middle class, giving the under class "employment" in imperial wars etc. etc.

We can only hope Obama knows better than to even consider accepting a preach-water-drink-wine "bipartisan" adviser, straight from the predators' world of the financial "industry". We can only hope, but little justifies us to assume Obama would NOT take an opportunity to further his career, as long -- as said Joe and Jane will not wake up.

Need I coax you people? Wake up, if you are not yet. The world is no tv-screen. And it's your lives, your country, no less than mine. posted 03/28/2008 at 13:27:17

Clinton: Wright "Would Not Have Been My Pastor"

Amen.

Yes, Obama was most obviously introduced with the specific purpose to divide the Democratic party and prolong the Bush-rule via McCain. It's up to the PEOPLE to prove wiser than "the club" is crafty and elect Obama nevertheless, via groundswell, "revolution".

Can anyone see the signs? YOU, the people, must change the pattern, to get a "people's" man in WH, or, more properly, to get someone in WH who may be forged into a "people's" man. Otherwise you NEVER can change the secular trend to plutocracy. RESISTING the MSM's (ridiculous) patterns for interpreting the Wright affair is the first step, today's crucible, for doing so.

A Mosaic: 4,000 Americans Dead

"Vorauseilender Gehorsam", we, for a short time and in pointing to others, used to say in Germany after 1989. But it's even more common today. People practise "anticipating acquiescence", way before any constraint can be legitimately deemed present or operating. Of course, they vow being gnashing their teeth in their cheeks while at it. These people are great in lip service.

Who shall decide what Pelosi, Clinton, Obama (?) "want", if they regularly do the opposite of it, and have people accept that doing the opposite of a thing is the smart way of promoting the thing?!

It's an INSULT TO ANYBODY'S INTELLIGENCE when politicians claim "standing" for anything who will regularly decline to take some risks for furthering their goals and being watched furthering it! (Let's see if Obama is capable of some degree of betterment. At least, he never positively enabled the war-hawks.)

I find all this FEIGNING disgusting. But what I find not so much disgusting as simply AMAZING is the sheer vaporization of CONCEPTS LIKE HONOR AND SHAME we, as a culture, have managed to effect.

The fact we should have lost any sense of what ABJECT levels our public life has touched, is the thing which AMAZES me. I do not wonder in the least, any more, 90 % of world population, and 100 % of muslims, think of us at below-human-level.

They are right. Us Westerners ARE below-human, if we feel no pain to change our culture. posted 03/28/2008 at 05:22:21

Another Bill Clinton Moment On The Campaign Trail

Abominable.

This is the president who sold you out to the banks, who failed to end the Cold War (yes folks, what do you think for what purpose NATO is relentless expanded?) and who thereby paved the way for the Bush nightmare.

Try here for some good read.: "Obama's 'Michael Douglas Moment'" (http://www.consortiumnews.com/2008/032208.html)
I am quoting the highlight:
"[...] comedian Jon Stewart may have spoken for more Americans when he ended a "Daily Show" segment on the speech [of Obama] with a look of amazement on his face and said, "so, at 11 o"clock a.m. on a Tuesday, a prominent politician spoke to Americans about race as though they were adults.""

Americans, please, grow up to the moment. You are making history. You are deciding your fate. HILLARY IS MORE OF THE SAME. posted 03/22/2008 at 15:48:18
