"Vorauseilender Gehorsam", we, for a short time and in pointing to others, used to say in Germany after 1989. But it's even more common today. People practise "anticipating acquiescence", way before any constraint can be legitimately deemed present or operating. Of course, they vow being gnashing their teeth in their cheeks while at it. Who shall decide what Pelosi, Clinton, Obama (?) "want", if they regularly do the opposite of it, and have people accept that doing the opposite of a thing is the smart way of promoting the thing?!
