Demographics .... demographics .... Let me see ... I am a 43yo, college educated, middle class urban Texan. To peg me further, I am also white, gay and in a 20yr, multi-racial relationship.
Politically I am somewhere to the Left of the Democratic party (which isn't hard to do) but I dislike overly-zealous progressives who take themselves too seriously just as much as I dislike the fascist Right when they take themselves seriously.
My religious beliefs are in the realm of the 10,000 faces of God - so I have no room for 'My God is better than your God' nor do I have room for 'Religion is a fairy tale'.
