Giordano is a Napa Valley pediatrician who is proudly embraces the term liberal. He believes that the US government has been hijacked by corporate lobbyists who selfishly promote their own economic agenda. The governing elite has mastered distracting the electorate from the most pressing problems we face. Increasingly illiterate and uninformed, Americans have been manipulated with Rovian style propaganda. Investigative journalism has all but disappeared and we now have a perfect storm to bring about the demise of our country as we knew it. The combination of ignorance and deception is how we got a dim wit nut case to become our President. And sadly, why the Democrats will also be unable to make the courageous and fundamental changes necessary to reverse the inevitable destruction of the middle class. Democrats and Republicans these days are distinguished only by which fringe groups they pander to rather than on substantive policy. Giordano believes fundamental change is the only hope for our survival. Giordano's namesake was one of the great minds of Western Civilization, who was burned at the stake for daring to differ with the prevailing "wisdom." After he was burned, the truth emerged. He was considered a heretic by the ruling theocratic elite. He was instead a courageous visionary who held truth more dearly than dogma.
