I'm older than my years, an island of intellectual commentary (and sometimes comedy) in an ocean of idiots.
A Conservative Jew, my political views tend to be in the 'moderate liberal' category, if you dare to try and categorize me in the first place. Snark is my favorite food group, no one is off-limits, including myself about whom I'll snark freely.
An interior designer, construction manager and landscape designer, I've been on both sides of television -- consultant and 'talent' on a small number of shows. Have hardhat -- will travel. I frequently do, having worked for clients all across the country from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C.
At the moment, I'm trying to garner renewed success at writing, which I left in the mid-1990s. (Some day soon, I'll have a bumper sticker made, "Ask me about my Law & Order: SVU spec script!")
In case you were so much as idly curious about my screen name: Yes, when I can get to the firing range, my weapon of choice is a Glock. I'm good with it. Don't jump to the conclusion I'm pro-NRA, because you'll be so sadly mistaken.
I'm into music from the 1970s and 1980s, fiction by those who have something to say, comedians who started in the same time period as my music choices (Richard Belzer, Billy Crystal, others who share their high level of talent), collecting art deco earrings, faux painting and gardening.
If you want to know more than that, you're buying me dinner and a couple Manhattans.
