Maybe if Hillary had showed some real leadership in the Senate back in October 2002 -- instead of voting for the invasion of Iraq... Maybe if Hillary had divorced Bill back in 2000, and won her NY Senate seat on her own merits instead riding on Bill's political coattails... Very similar to the Pennsylvania results, the exit polls showed that over 80% of the W. I believe the words "the chickens have come home to roost" are directed at the American gov't policies, not the Americans who died on 9/11... we Americans should not feel offended by angry words directed at our government. There's certainly a lot of anger in America and many Americans and other people all over the world have said the same thing about our policies in the Middle East. We may not have had the 9/11 attacks at all, if we didn't have troops stationed in Saudi Arabia at the time... Bin Laden warned America many times to remove our troops from their Islamic holy land. The Clintons' big-state argument is total Bull-doody... the primary race IS NOT the General Election, where the normal big blue states will still be BLUE come November.

The only thing the Clintons have proven by winning those big blue states during the primary and caucus races is that they have the institutional political base to begin with, and that's what Obama is having to overcome, state-by-state. The Clintons start out with an automatic 20-30 point advantage in each of the big states, and Obama has to come in as the new kid and convince that institutional base of Dem voters to change their minds.

Quite impressive what Obama has achieved, considering that just 6 months ago the Clintons were the "inevitable" winners in all the primaries! posted 04/23/2008 at 16:33:50

That morning, the New York Times ran a story about the book in which Ayers said, "I don't regret setting bombs. I feel we didn't do enough." As quoted at the following link, Richardson clarified himself before the March 4th primaries and caucuses, wherein he states that whoever has the MOST DELEGATES after March 4th should be the nominee:

http://www.alternet.org/blogs/democracy/78596/

"Former Democratic presidential candidate Bill Richardson, tirelessly courted for his endorsement by both Hillary and Obama, made some interesting comments on Face the Nation this past weekend. He said it would be best for the Democratic Party to reduce the number of superdelegates in future elections, that voters in the primaries should have more clout.
