I've been blogging for many years - actually since just after 9/11. During most of that time, I was living in Reno, Nevada with my wife.
When she retired... well, lucky me and her, I was born in Saskatchewan, though I was raised in the US and lived there until 81 - with the full dose of cultural assumptions.
Maybe Obama will be able to restore the Republic - but the more I examine the rot, the further back it goes; I have started to question whether there was any back to the front.
In historical terms, the US is about due for some radical upheaval and I'm just too damn old to put up with the fallout. But I watch with hope.
