Why would Price suggest that African American students do not take African American Studies seriously? Black culture, history, psychology, economics, spirituality, resistance is not worthy of study? What a stupid Eurocentric remark. If Price grasped the effects of white racism as much as he thinks he does, he would realize that fAfrican American Studies is just as crucial to Black liberation and survival as the coursework that qualifies one for a trade.
