I have been trying to figure out why ANY of the current administration was in the mid-east so recently trying to negotiate when they are (presumably) not going to be in a position to honor any promises made after the US Presidential elections.
All the events to date convincingly point to a conspiracy to prevent any such elections. Call me paranoid but I wouldn't put the possibility of an orchestrated cause for Martial law past Bush for one minute. Martial law could prevent the 2008 elections. Why are the candidates not involved with, or at least encouraging impeachment? I would love to hear a good explanation for that.

As recently as June 9, 2008 Rep. Dennis Kucinich proposed impeaching President Bush, only to have The House vote 251-166 to send the resolution to committee, a maneuver that allows the Democratic leadership to freeze the measure indefinitely.

Kucinich said he would continue to introduce resolutions calling for the removal of Bush from office if the articles of impeachment against Bush that he presented to The House is not taken up within 30 days or dies in committee.

1. D. Kucinich is not the first to propose impeachment. It has been introduced and shot down repeatedly:

Clearly the rabbit hole is deeper than any suspect. Why would impeachment proceedings not be initiated when there is so much evidence against Bush, Cheney, et al.? Blackmail? Pay-offs? Fear of or knowledge of self implication?
If the elected and/or appointed governmental powers will not do their job, we, the people MUST RAISE HELL!


2. "The "Jefferson's Manual" is an interpretive guide to parliamentary procedure, and is included (along with the Constitution) in the bound volumes of the Rules of the House of Representatives. It is ratified by each Congress -- including the current one -- and has been updated continuously through the history of our democracy. The section covering impeachment lists the acceptable vehicles for bringing impeachment motions to the floor of the House.
Before the House Judiciary Committee can put together the Articles of Impeachment, someone must initiate the impeachment procedure. Most often, this occurs when members of the House pass a resolution. Another method outlined in the manual, however, is for individual citizens to submit a memorial for impeachment."

The "Do-It-Yourself Impeachment" IS a legitimate procedure. I called several representatives offices and asked.
I would hope that an onslaught of these forms would have some impact. It has been attempted before but I don't think the word got out because they quote "In previous waves, we've had over 500,000 download of the document representing over 1.7 million mailings". Given the Bush Administration's DIS-approval rating and the US population of well over 225 million old enough to vote...

I have searched for information regarding current proceedings to impeach Bush, Cheney, et al. There are plenty of "online petitions." I don't really believe that my digital signature is very effective but am willing to submit it just on the chance that it can be counted. Some petitions available:
