Native of the Pacific Northwest. Some college in Oregon. San Francisco 1966 to 1970. Berkeley 1970 to 1975. Draft Resister 1967: Did time and alternate service. Ecology Action, 1969-'70. Favorite places: Florida Gulf Coast in Spring, Southern Oregon anytime, Northern fresh water lakes in August, historic graveyards, fresh tilled gardens, dinner with friends. Other best things: local strawberries, perfect watermelon, salty buttery popcorn till your lips bleed, cold unsugared teas.
