Bio
Grew up on a ranch in SoCal, training wild animals for the movies (lions and tigers, and bear, oh my! Okay, no tigers, but lots of lions and bears - and apes, monkeys, ostriches, cows, horses, etc.) Escaped LA when I was 19, moved to the Bay Area to become a hippie. Ended up turning into an engineer, and becoming a dad, a husband, and almost a 'responsible' human being. I've lived in the Sierras, moved to Reno, then Grass Valley... pretty much all over the state. In-between all these lives, I've lived in Buffalo, NY... visited New York, Detroit and Chicago. Been to just about every state in the union (except Alaska!) Working as a design engineer for a major aerospace components manufacturer, living halfway between my two loves, Yosemite and Big Sur.
