Clinton's Open Letter To Obama On MI and FL

No one in their right mind (including HRC if she had been in Obamas shoes) would have agreed to revotes .... this would extend this process forever and the party needs time to unite. posted 05/09/2008 at 02:08:16
My understanding was that this thing will boil down to the credentials committee later on in June where Obama and Howard Dean will have the majority. I thought this May 31st committee was just a precursor to that...can someone explain? posted 05/09/2008 at 02:03:48

Hillary Clinton And Bill O'Reilly Square Off On The Factor: Watch Video

Yes its highly hypocritical, and a shameless pander to the Reagan Democrats who watch Fox in droves. posted 05/01/2008 at 02:33:07
I also like Shep. He seems the most down to earth of all the Foxites. I hope he does go to another network as previous poster mentioned is a possibility. posted 05/01/2008 at 02:31:16
Yeah....it sounded good, because ORile was as bombastic as ever. but you are right, why didnt he hammer her on all the real baggage she is carrying. The toughest he got was ...."I mean no disrespect, but hasnt he been winning because people like his personality more than yours?".......words to that effect, not a direct quote. posted 05/01/2008 at 02:22:00
Cnn is far from in the tank for Obama. Aside from the surrogates who they give equal time to, Cafferty is the only regular part time host on Cnn who is pro Obama as far as I can see. And I watch Cnn regularly. Most of them have been hammering Obama for weeks on Cnn. I couldnt tell the diff. between Cnn and Fox coverage regarding Obama. posted 05/01/2008 at 02:14:17
lol I totally agree with your post in its entirety. And regarding the male/female thing, did you notice she was wearing hot pink?........just that extra little visual enhancement. I thought they were somewhat flirtacious with each other....but she did do a good job of dealing with him.
Obama cannot do anything more that would continue this news cycle on Wright, and needs to change the subject bigtime right now. That would mean postponing any direct wrangling with the extreme right for the moment. It is laughable to say that he is afraid of OReilly. Its just not good politics to go on that program right now. I agree with Gergen....he should have some good surrogates out there right now (black preachers among them) dealing with any further Wright stuff. posted 05/01/2008 at 01:59:08
He's already been on Fox in the past week. He said he will go on the Factor after the primaries. Right now is not the greatest timing because he will just get hammered on the Wright fiasco when we are all trying to move on. OReilly hasnt been as hard on Obama as Hannity however, who NEVER shuts up. As biased as Fox is, they have a large audience that is not completely right wing....lots of moderates and Reagan Dems watch it. That is who Hillary was aiming for. posted 05/01/2008 at 01:44:51

Clinton Faces Steady Erosion Of Support

Good post. I also have no understanding about why people vote against their own economic interest......they are 'values' voters I suppose.........as well as having some other attributes. In my country we have a 3 party system. I have voted for all 3 parties at one time or another........but I often vote strategically to try and prevent a majority. Whenever one party wins a majority here, the super corruption sets in. It seems to keep them a little more honest when they have to compromise to stay in power. We have a Parliamentary system. I think it is also a fact that it is much easier for female leaders to come to the fore in a Parliamentary system. Maybe that is why the Clinton feminists are so adamant..........it is such a rare phenomenum to see a female candidate get this far in the USA. (PS I am a non-Clintonian feminist and baby boomer). posted 04/22/2008 at 04:02:01
I also used to like them ..... before New Hampshire and South Carolina. What kind of saddens me is that I even dislike Chelsea because she is connected to them. She now appears to me to be a smug spoiled little rich girl. Did you see the pans to her face on the ABC Debate? That look on her face was the last straw. This whole family needs to please go away and allow something new to take form. posted 04/22/2008 at 03:49:09
I really wish you people would quit being "elitist bloggers" and dissing people who happen to write in caps. Who cares? Grow up. Some of the comments on blog sites are much more boorish than the use of caps by folks who may not know the "etiquette" some of you have created out of nothing. posted 04/22/2008 at 03:39:55
So what?? If someone in the blogosphere writes in caps, is it going to hurt anyone? I dont think so. It is not the same as someone yelling in your face in the real world. It is just a bunch of capital letters. Who cares? I read whatever is written when I am reading blogs whether it is capped or not. Some of you seem to take this just a little too seriously. posted 04/22/2008 at 03:35:27
Good sensible post. Anyone with any brains knows this is a "change" election. Even McSame is starting to yap about change (I mean spin lol).....when you see him showing up in rural Alabama or wherever it was today, prattling about representing "all the people even though they wont vote for him" ..... it was a red flag re how we are going to see him try to separate himself from Bush, the Rep. Party and the rest of the plutocracy. posted 04/22/2008 at 03:25:43
He also comes across as MUCH more trustworthy, and with more integrity. There is no doubt that he is a more unifying figure as well. posted 04/22/2008 at 03:12:18
You are repetitive and annoying. You made your point. Your questions were answered. Now please stop typing. posted 04/22/2008 at 03:04:19
You were told numerous times why he is outspending her. And another reason would be "Because he can!" Her fundraising ability is now nil. Ability to raise money to fight the Repubs is a big deal. posted 04/22/2008 at 03:01:02
Do you not understand the issue of name recognition?????? It seems a fairly easy concept to grasp for most of us..........which is why this primary is taking so long. He has to introduce himself to the public. He was pretty much unknown outside of Illinois before he announced. posted 04/22/2008 at 02:55:43
Have you ever considered that he needs to introduce himself to each state, needs to narrow the gap (which is always in her favour due to name recognition), ..........also the more money he spends, the more she has to spend (as she goes further and further into debt...10 million at the last count I read.) posted 04/22/2008 at 02:52:32

Hillary Clinton Tax Returns: See Full Details

Its not the money, its the influence peddling.....foreign connections etc etc posted 04/05/2008 at 00:25:16
Exactly. Its the foreign influence that is the problem. What he has been up to is totally relevant to her. posted 04/05/2008 at 00:09:56
Thats right, he's running for co-president. posted 04/05/2008 at 00:07:29
