I am an engineer and construction consultant, just a regular guy who actually looks at both sides of an issue. I have always followed politics, though quietly, on a national level, but since this administration has been in power, I have felt compelled to actually speak out with some of my views. I have been in my own businesses for years and have also been in sales for years. I meet a fairly diverse cross section of the public which, I think, has taught me be more tolerant of opposing views, up to a limit. I am married (for a long time)with two great children, with whom we sometimes disagree, politically.
I am amazed at what has transpired these last 7 years. I never thought it could happen here in America. One of my fears is that the experiences of the last 7 years are accepted by the american public as the norm. We cannot let this happen. We all deserve better, and we must speak out to get back on track, which I define as having people in power with a desire to consider what is best for the American people, and not a selected subset.
