JANET ALSTON JACKSON, author of the USA Book News Award Winner, “A Cry for Light: A Journey into Love", is a communications expert. She facilitates workshops to thousands on effective communications and Mindfulness-Based Stress Management. Janet has been a guest on radio shows around the country, and has made appearances on public television.

For 17 years she was a publicist for CBS and ABC Television Networks. She was also a manager and the West Coast photo editor for ABC Television in charge of the network's image. When she was with CBS, Janet worked hundreds of prime time shows before she headed publicity for the daytime show lineup on the West Coast.
