Well, with access to (our) trillions, she can afford to hire better people. She is so much better with large amounts of money. With trillions, she can save us from ourselves, reverse global warming, save social security, bail everybody out of their mortgage, provide health care for the entire world and balance the budget ... we promise. Sorry, but a few hundred million simply isn't enough to defeat a "black" candidate that nobody likes and nobody voted for. It's just not real money.

My last thought here is that I do not see my sisters or my wife in a more negative light. Well, one sister is a shrill beyotch but she thinks she is a republican so I forgive her as she does me for calling her names.

Point is, I look at the women in my life with more reverence than ever ... ("Thank God you aren't like Hillary baby!") I feel that will extend to women like the Napolitanos or Sibeliuses as their times come. People may initially react like "Oh, God, here it comes again," but as they get to know the individual and see her campaign, the comparison to Hillary will most certainly help.

Agreed, after Hillary, there will always be that little wrinkle in the back of everyone's mind, "She could be! :))) But that could be a deterent to bad behavior. posted 05/12/2008 at 01:39:14
Well, speaking for myself, I have always seen her as outside the norm relative to the women I know.

Some Native American tribes lived in matriarchal societies. I have read this was to ensure the central control of the family was not continuously damaged by war and hunting casualties. I believe that a woman has a naturally closer relationship to her children (children in general) than do men and would subsequently, be less inclined to start or enter frivolous wars. Here"s looking forward to the right one in our lifetime. posted 05/12/2008 at 00:20:04

You guys may be right and I hope not. My thought is that Hillary came in with enormous negatives. She was already seen as shrill and calculating, then proceeded to prove that beyond a shadow at high noon. A woman with integrity that has the knowledge of Hillary Clinton, not starting with 40% disapproval and 20% unfounded hatred will surely benefit from her campaign. This democratic nomination contest will be in the history books. The things that killed Hillary are not based so much on her gender but rather her lack of integrity and shady associations all veiled in secrecy, wrapped up in a slime cocoon spun by her dirtbag husband. posted 05/12/2008 at 00:09:58

I don't know about all that. I dislike Hillary's "win at any cost" tactics and despise her alledged sperm donor but I think she has taken hits throughout her career that no woman will ever have to take again. Say what you will, but she has substantially cracked the glass ceiling and mowed down traditional roadblocks. The next woman to make a run will have fewer hurdles based on her gender. posted 05/11/2008 at 23:51:13

Five Stages Of Grief

Denial and Isolation.
At first, we tend to deny the loss has taken place, and may withdraw from our usual social contacts. This stage may last a few moments, or longer.

Anger.
The grieving person may then be furious at the person who inflicted the hurt (even if she's dead), or at the world, for letting it happen. He may be angry with himself for letting the event take place, even if, realistically, nothing could have stopped it.

Bargaining.
Now the grieving person may make bargains with God, asking, "If I do this, will you take away the loss?"

Depression.
The person feels numb, although anger and sadness may remain underneath.

Acceptance.
This is when the anger, sadness and mourning have tapered off. The person simply accepts the reality of the loss. posted 05/10/2008 at 03:02:16
