I WILL POST SHORTER, BITING POSTS. A CERTAIN PERCENTAGE WILL STILL POST. There is a strong possibility is that the numerous right wing campaign paid trolls that run around this site, probably go around and mark anything they don't like as abusive. HuffPo has no way of stopping that I think.
Obama: The Audacity of Courage
Barack Obama risks his life every day that he runs for the office of President of the United States. He risks his life knowing that his children, Malia and Natasha, may grow up without their father. He risks his life knowing that his wife Michelle Obama may someday be a widow. Why take this risk? Barack Obama knows he has a responsibility to use his God given gifts for the greater good.
John McCain and Sarah Palin are inciting crowds and through their hateful rhetoric and rhetorical questions condone audience outbursts such as "kill him," "terrorist," and "off with his head." They make no attempt to stop these death threats by addressing the crowd to say "that is not appropriate" or "that is not what I meant" and they make no attempt to direct the Secret Service and law enforcement officials to those who verbalize their wish to have Barack Obama killed.
John McCain and Sarah Palin are not only endangering Barack Obama's life by inciting hatred. They are endangering the lives of Secret Service officials and local law enforcement officers entrusted to serve and protect a crowd filled with men, women and children.
Guilt by association? If Barack Obama's life is taken through an act of violence then McCain and Palin will be quick to deny that they pulled the trigger. However, they are guilty. They are guilty by association. They contributed to a volatile environment where such a detestable act is condoned; not condemned.
In spite of these dark days filled with hateful speeches and death threats, Barack Obama, continues to courageously charge onward and on course, for America, still the great beacon light of hope.
