Clinton seeks gas tax vote, Obama calls it 'shell' game

Obama wouldn't know a "shell game" from the real thing. Look how his pastured "shelled" him. He is not qualified either since he is an "elitist" to say what is good for the economy or what will help the little guy out. Besides.... he is one giant hypocrite playing self-centered politics. He voted 3 times in 2000 as an Illinois State Senator for an Illinois state gas tax holiday. Why was it good enough then, but not now? He's a pathetic weasel trying to make himself look different on the gas tax holiday issue, at the expense of the public. Shame on him posted 05/03/2008 at 03:56:28

Bloomberg Slams Clinton, McCain Gas Tax Plan

Bloomberg's objections to a gas tax holiday are one thing. But Barak Obama is only against a gas tax holiday, because McCain and Clinton were for one first. They beat Obama to it, and Obama doesn"t want to look like a follower. The proof is in the pudding. The next day, September 12, Pickering wrote a petition calling on President Bush to use "moderation and restraint" in responding to 9/11 and "to use, wherever possible, international judicial institutions and international human rights law to bring to justice those responsible for the attacks, rather than the instruments of war, violence or destruction."

At the same time, Pariser, who had graduated from college the year before and was working at a liberal nonprofit organization in Massachusetts, was writing a similar petition, which he put on a website he created called 9-11peace.org.
