Goodness, did you read about our leak.It was under the kitchen
floor and as luck happens we had storage space with doors like
a trap door and they went inside from there. Feel very guilty about
the amount of water lost though. Thank you for your concern and

However in this case it means that Hillary is too proud, ambitious and stubborn to bow out, but

MsLiz, I understand that but as I am not American and don't live in
your country, my comment was about counties all over the world.
My viewpoint about guns stems from the fact, that out of the 3
countries I have lived in from birth to now, citizens are not allowed
to own or carry guns. The right to bear arms was appropriate when
your constitution was written and implemented of course, but now?
I dislike guns and what they can do to people, families and their
lives and am happy to live my life in a gun free society, so my
understanding of your laws is biased I'm afraid. posted 05/17/2008 at 22:49:42

If America has the funds to pay for this, don't you think that the money would be better
spent on weaning farmers off the growing of poppy fields, which are killing so many
of the citizens around the globe. I remember a documentary last year where the reason
for the increase in growing of opium, was discussed. It seems that many countries which
promised aid to Afghanistan at the beginning of the fight against al Qaeda and the Taliban,
still have not payed the promised amount. Afghanistan is a poor country and can't afford
to offer these poor farmers an alternative for their opium producing crops. I thought
after all the years of war this country had endured, that finally there would be a real
chance of international help. What a drag being an optimist these days, where promises
are blown away in fickle gusts of wind. posted 05/17/2008 at 08:45:38

GOP Southerners Fear Obama Wave

So you think that black people on the whole think of themselves as

Most people who have been persecuted in one way or another learn

John McCain: Obama Unfit To Protect The United States

This comment from McCain first made me laugh and then made me wonder.
In the 7 years, four months of this Republican Administration, I find it hard
to recall any diplomacy being tried or used to defuse any volatile situation
abroad. If I remember the talks with N.Korea, apart from starting late, also
concluded many times with America leaving the talks, hanging in the air.
Therefore I wonder what happened to all the great diplomats and do the
Republicans even know the meaning of the word or what, in the right
hands, this could achieve to forward world peace?

Yes, I love the Japanese culture too and at the time this pride in
not surrendering was so deeply ingrained and in some ways still
is by the fear of "losing face" that the suicide rate over here is
quite high. Alarmingly because of the breakdown in some family
units, leading to lack of communication, between child and parents,
kids as young as 7, kill themselves as a direct result of school

your head repeatedly on a brick wall, expecting it not to hurt. posted 05/15/2008 at 23:17:35
One of their problems being that before charging into Iraq, like
bulls in a china shop, nobody seems to have researched the
difference between the Shia and the Sunnies, maybe not
even the history of Iraq either. I wonder how many people
in Washington either know or care about this difference
in religious beliefs. It's a little too late to stick them in a corner,
wearing a hat with a D on now.
The same can be said of Japan too, as the Japanese culture

they were prepared to commit harakiri rather than give up. posted 05/15/2008 at 23:02:29
