Karina Allrich is an artist and a creative cook who enjoys developing easy rustic recipes featuring seasonal ingredients and Mediterranean inspired flavors.

She is the author of two cookbooks- Recipes from a Vegetarian Goddess (reprinted as Cooking By The Seasons) and Cooking By Moonlight. After learning she had celiac disease (smack dab in the middle of kitchen testing chocolate cake recipes for her second cookbook) Karina turned her formidable focus to gluten-free cooking and launched the popular food blog Karina's Kitchen- Recipes from a gluten-free goddess, featured in Newsweek magazine as the go-to on-line source for "creative recipes and cooking tips from an experienced gluten-free chef."
