Obama Snubbed Fox News On Trip Abroad

Obama snubbed Fox News - no wonder I like him! If (and when) Obama is elected president, Fox and its moron acolytes will do nothing but bad-mouth Obama anyway, so why should he try to make nice with them? Ignoring them is the best thing for him to do; too many people are onto Fox and their lies and racism, so don't give them any coverage. posted 07/23/2008 at 11:33:09

McCain Camp "Frustrated" With Obama's Trip: Reports

So Obama went from having both Clintons on his a-s to McCain and Andrea Mitchell on it. He can't win - he's been double-teamed from the beginning AND HE'S STILL GOING TO BE PRESIDENT. Get over it, McCain - you're out of touch and out of time. posted 07/22/2008 at 13:25:26

New Yorker Blues

The problem is, most Americans don't read the New Yorker. They're sure seeing the picture though, since it's on every news broadcast and web news site. If they don't read the article - satire or not - and only see the picture, what impression does it leave? posted 07/22/2008 at 13:38:01

Hillary's Failing: It Was All Someone Else's Fault

I agree wholeheartedly. One thing her candidacy proved - she was incapable of handling her own candidacy, and certainly could not run the country. And running a campaign has nothing to do with sexism or racism; if a lousy candidate runs a lousy campaign, you don't need anything else to go down to defeat. posted 07/22/2008 at 13:53:11

Senate Passes FISA Bill, Gives Telecoms Immunity

I guess the difference in how FISA is used is whoever is president - Bush/Cheney would spy on the American public, Obama would not. posted 07/09/2008 at 16:03:44

Paying Off Clinton's Debt: Not A Dime For Mark Penn

Whether or not it was Mark Penn's idea, Hillary Clinton stayed in the race long after it was clear she would not win, running up expenses the whole time. Since it's common practice for the winner to help cover the loser's debt, she probably figured she had it made - continue to trash Obama as long as she could, and if he eventually won the nomination it wouldn't cost her since he would cover her campaign debt. Obama is handling this beautifully - none of his money is going to the Clinton debt; all he is doing is asking his donors to help her. If they choose not to do that, it's not Obama's fault. After all, how many of the still-bitter Hillary supporters would be sending cash to Obama if the situation were reversed? posted 07/09/2008 at 14:33:15

McCain, Most Absent Senator, Calls Congress Lazy

Typical politician-will say anything to win an election. Congress has an even lower rating than the President, so he's safe knocking them. Too bad there are people out there who look past what the candidates say and hold them accountable. If he's an absent senator, then he'd be an absent president. This country is in too much trouble to have someone like him in the highest office. posted 07/09/2008 at 08:25:54

McCain Gets "Visibly Angry" When Asked About Military Experience

McCain's temper is never brought out by the MSM - maybe a few more reporters ought to ask him questions he doesn't like on camera. Then people can see what he's really like when he doesn't get his way. The man is unstable, with a hair-trigger temper and a foul mouth. Why don't we see this on cable TV? posted 07/02/2008 at 16:33:00

Clark: McCain A Hero, But Lacks Command Experience

Wes Clark is right. I have never understood why getting shot down makes you a war hero; it certainly doesn't qualify someone for president. I don't denigrate his military service, I just don't think it qualifies him for the highest office in the land. posted 06/30/2008 at 16:05:56

Vista Or Bust: The End Of Windows XP

I use XP at work and have Vista on my home laptop. No comparison - XP wins hands down. I'll never understand why Microsoft is dumping one of its best (XP) and has spent millions on trying to keep Vista viable. They should have dumped Vista a long time ago, instead of shoving it down everyone's throat. All they're doing is sending business to Linux. posted 06/30/2008 at 11:04:03

It's My Party, I'll Cry If I Want To

Sorry Bill, but Obama won. The Clintons have run the Dems for 20 years, but it's over. If you're waiting for him to come to you hat in hand, you've got a long wait - he doesn't need you (or your wife for that matter) and whether you like it or not you are now nothing but a footnote in history. Besides it was you and Hillary who ran a down and dirty campaign, not Obama, so maybe you owe Obama an apology! posted 06/28/2008 at 06:14:10

Clinton Makes First Appearance As Obama Surrogate

Why should Obama help pay off Hillary's campaign debt? She continued her campaign long after it was clear she wasn't going to win, and spent most of that time trumpeting that Obama was not fit to lead the country - only she or McCain were. The Democrats are uniting on their own, and Obama doesn't need her few embittered supporters who say they will switch to McCain. Obama doesn't need her, and the Clintons need to get over the fact that they LOST. Demands by the Clintons should be put where they belong - in the trash. They are history now, they knew what they were doing, and should pay their own debts. posted 06/27/2008 at 11:01:02

Nader: Obama Trying To "Talk White" And "Appeal To White Guilt"

At least Nader won't throw an election this time (and deny it forever). He's a sad and bitter shadow of what he once was; all he wants now is the spotlight and money. posted 06/25/2008 at 19:59:45

So the Dems caved again - to a president with a lower approval rating than shingles. So much for all the blowhard promises. I'm beginning to see why the Repubs love Pelosi and Reid. posted 06/20/2008 at 15:04:21
I'm ashamed to admit I'm a Democrat. The President has the lowest ever recorded approval rate, and the Dems cave. Every one of them should be voted out of office. posted 06/20/2008 at 12:20:54

Should Hillary Leave Him Now?

Bill and Hillary are like two serial killers who separately would not amount to much, but when they get together they turn into the Hillside Stranglers. They need each other, they feed off each other, and they deserve each other. posted 06/14/2008 at 19:15:38

Those Loyal To Clintons Take Note Of Who Was Not

Which explains why the gutless superdelegates were reluctant to come out en masse for Obama. Clinton Faces Largest Campaign Debt In History

She kept on campaigning long after it was obvious she wasn't going to win the nomination, knowing full well that the small vendors weren't going to get paid and that someone else would pick up her debt. And this is a person some people think should run this country? No one should help her with her debt; Obama should help the small vendors get paid. Her own loan and Mark Penn's salary can come out of her own bank account; if she were not a politician she would be in Court and ordered to pay every dime herself. She is despicable. posted 06/10/2008 at 12:37:36

Obama Fails To Assuage White Indiana Voters With Speech On Race

As one of the few white democrats in Indiana, don't bet the farm on it. Unfortunately racism is alive and well - if under the table - in Indiana, and every excuse will be made not to vote for Obama but the real one. I have been in favor of abolishing the Electoral College for some time; it's the only way a democrat or minority will ever register here. posted 04/01/2008 at 11:29:07

No, Hillary, you are not human - you are a political robot programmed for only one thing, to win! Get out and stop helping McCain. Your time has passed and everyone knows it but you and Carville. posted 03/25/2008 at 18:28:28

Watch: Anderson Cooper Asks James Carville, "Dude, Aren't You Mr. Washington?"

I agree - Carville's "Judas" comment was the result of the frustration of losing, and losing Hillary is. If she had any party loyalty or sense of decency she would get out and stop dividing the party to the benefit of McCain, but she won't. She has too much of a sense of entitlement and will do ANYTHING to get elected. I don't want Obama to get into gutter politics, but he, Richardson and all other superdelegates who prefer Obama had better be ready for itl posted 03/25/2008 at 18:17:53
