I grew up in the coastal community of Dauphin Island, AL. Beautiful place, but a little too conservative for my taste. Life then led me to Washington, DC for college. I received my bachelors from American University and then my masters from Columbia in NYC. I've lived all over the world and seen a lot of places. And now life has led me back south to Georgia. I'm a liberal to the core and not ashamed of it.
