As my Screen name says, I'm a Liberal Democrat; a Progressive.
I live in SoCal {No, no longer the bastion of liberalism, I'm afraid} and am a big fan of Keith Olbermann. Aside from "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" that I religiously watch on MSNBC every weekday @ 5p.m. {PST}, I now watch Chris Matthews' "Hardball" and Rachel Maddow's "The Rachel Maddow Show".
I never, ever watch Fixed News but only rarely watch CNN. I'm a fan of Alec Baldwin's, John Cusack's and Thom Hartmann's blogs.
It goes without saying that I'm a huge fan of Milady Arianna Huffington.
As you've suspected, I am rooting for Barack Obama because America really does need a change. As for the excuse of him being "too new", allow me this {roughly} translated Dutch proverb: "New brooms sweep clean".
