Bluer than blue Democrat. I have seen, from a very young age, what fear and the unknown can do to people. It makes them hate. I've been surrounded by that kind of thinking for a long time, and I will teach my three sons temperance, acceptance and compassion - three things that the GOP knows nothing of. I see horrible things happening in my country that sicken me and do what I can to counteract it. Sometimes it's just posting on blogs. But it's something.
I am a National-Security Democrat (a term I heard Rachel Maddow to describe herself). I love my country, support our troops and believe in diplomacy first - war last.
