Linda R. Monk is a constitutional scholar and the author of "The Words We Live By: Your Annotated Guide to the Constitution." Her commentary has been published in the New York Times, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, and Los Angeles Times. A graduate of Harvard Law School, she has twice received the American Bar Association's Silver Gavel Award, its highest honor for law-related media.
