Obama Camp Faces Major Obstacles In Plan To Help Clinton Pay Off Debt

I'm adding my voice to those of Obama donors all over the country that I do not want my money funneled to the campaign of a multi-millionaire. I will vote for him, but I will not give another dime until the Obama campaign issues a formal statement saying that they will not pay off Clinton.

I emailed the Obama campaign as well. I'm sure they're inundated with complaints. posted 05/09/2008 at 09:40:24

Jimmy Carter: Florida, Michigan Shouldn't Count

I agree with President Carter. You don't change the rules in the middle of the game. It would be absurd. As far as "disenfranchising the voters", as a post-Super Tuesday stater, I have been disenfranchised in more primaries than I can count because my candidate usually drops out after that big event. Too damn bad. posted 05/08/2008 at 10:07:08

Hillary Will Drop Out by June 15

While the Obama kids are probably a little young to be toted around all the time, I agree. There are far too few images of the entire Obama family. Why is that? Is it because they spend so much time apart on the campaign trail, or is the media trying to "de-humanize" Obama by not presenting him as a family man? I've been wondering about that lately... posted 05/08/2008 at 09:10:49

Joe Trippi: I Should Have Told Edwards To Stay In Race

He's such a loser. Wasn't he in charge of Howard Dean's campaign? When Dean dropped out just because of some stupid bad press for a hoarse-throated yell? I still am pissed that I didn't get to cast a meaningful vote for Dean in that election--in Massachusetts. It seems that this guy is a really BAD campaign advisor, and as such, he isn't doing his COUNTRY any favors. posted 05/02/2008 at 09:19:26

Whoopi: "Part Of Me Wants Mccain To Win"

I don't think we have to wish. McCain is going to be our next president. I can smell it. If Hillary and Barack can make each other look so weak and pathetic, just imagine what the repubs will do to whichever gets the nomination. It'll be a bloody rout. I'm so sick of it all. posted 04/24/2008 at 08:56:22

On Course For Another White Guy Election

Those guys either need sunscreen, or are both headed for a heart attack. (Two reasons to vote for Democrats: better on global warming/ozone depletion and heathcare.) posted 04/22/2008 at 12:55:39

Inside Clinton's Elton John Fundraiser: Singer Amazed By "Misogynistic Attitudes" Of Some In USA

Remember a few years ago when he called Americans racist for voting a black contestant off of American Idol? If we're so racist and misogynist, why the hell is he always here? "Sir" Elton became such a jerk once he got the hair. posted 04/10/2008 at 10:06:08

Honestly, they are AWFUL. It's torture to watch them. Not fun, not cute, perhaps exploitation of the elderly. posted 04/09/2008 at 09:18:49

Randi Rhodes is Wrong

Thanks for posting this. I completely agree, and I've been listening to Randi Rhodes since the first show Air America streamed. While I'm all for free speech and dropping the F-Bomb once in a while, I was disappointed that Randi couldn't have found a more creative way of making her point. She is, after all, more than capable. Other than Rachel Maddow, she's the only female progressive commentator that can go head-to-head in the mainstream media against the rightie shouters. I'm afraid that this incident has hurt the inroads she's made on the talking-head shows. posted 04/07/2008 at 09:29:52

Oliver Stone Casts Parents Of "W"

I agree. I could not stand the pain of watching this movie. After W. Ieaves I don't want to have to look at another Bush in my lifetime. I imagine others feel the same. I hope O.S. knows what he's doing.... posted 03/28/2008 at 12:44:24
