Oh really so you are not aware of the fact that much of what you have mentioned has improved in many cases and if you were savvy then you would breakdown how that looks along economic lines so you can see where the real issue is instead of being prejudice and generalizing a whole group of people. There are a lot of factors and much nuance behind the numbers. You are throwingf out what you continue to throw out out of racial frustration and prejudice. You could care less. Your motivations are transparent.
What about the over 50% divorce rate in the white community?

When was the last time that you even bothered to go figure out the truth. There are thousands of grassroots organizations, coummunity leaders, activists and churches that set out to create community programs because they believe that it takes a village to raise a child. Many have made it their duty. Its more than just personal responisblity which many have taken. It is called social responsiblity something that white people need to learn. Daly, Daly, Daly you seem not to understand the historical role of the NAACP. You are really off base. They mostly deal with court cases

I agree the the organization is ancient and needs to update . I also think that they are irrelevant. However you seem to be unaware of the thousands of grassroots organizatations that have been designed to take on these issues. There is a plethora of factors to take into account when dealing with certain issues.

Of course people liek who who harbor racial frustrations and ignoranc eare only interested in superficial answers for complex and nuanced issues.

Also to say that the men mentioned above has never spoken about and tried to change many of the issues like drop-out rate and other things is trul ignorant and just shows that you know nothing about what you are talking about.

Can you not stereotype or insult children in the "hood". I hear many say this same things. My white professors at Columbia have all said at one point that Obama's appeal is that "he talks white". I was so offended each time that I heard it from my white professors at an ivy league and fellow white counterparts. So please so not limit this...I work with inner city children and I dont hear them saying this these days. Some may but many don't. Arrogant are you? I love how you repeat what I found offensive about Obama's comments in Texas. There are no stats that back up your claim and actually the stats say the exact opposite. You see, I grew up in a rich black family. However I have stepped off my high horse to help those who are less fortunate. Your comment is just as flawed as this article!From working with these families and their children in NYC inner cities, I have a different perception of them and what plagues them. I will simply say that your analysis is unfair and off base.

I would love someone to tell a white person those things. They are not as perfect as they deluded the world to make it seem.

You seem not to understand how socio-economic situtations effect societal issues. What lead to the development of the inner city and why does it remain underdeveloped are important questions to ask yourself. Obama has called himself a "black man of mixed heritage". You see to not have much of an understanding of the African diaspora and how it came into existence in the western hemisphere. Most blacks in the Western hemisphere are of mixed background as well as whites. Its called a history book. There is a reason behind this.

Also, if Obama never told anyone that he was of mixed background, few people would have inquired truthfully. There are people far lighter woth various features who are "black" on both sides.
