check the FTC site and search for new balance. they have gotten in trouble over misuse of the term 'made in america'
the vast majority of their shoes are made in asia and the rest are assembled in the us.

Sorry there slick, nike has been at the forefront of their industry in driving both employment and environmental standards forward. It took a while but for the past 10-15 years they have been heads and shoulders above any other footwear / apparel company.
