Born: 28 Feb 1940, in a small Missouri town.
Graduated in a class of twenty one students.
Joined the US Marine Corps in 1958, retired from them 1978. Two and a half tours in Nam. Circumnavigated twice, spent time in Northern Europe: Scotland, Germany & Norway...Southern Europe: Spain and Italy...The entire Pacific rim from Korea to Austrailia, including the Phillipines, Japan and many others.
Have lived through at least parts of Rooseveldt, Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagon, BushI, Clinton, & BushII administrations.
Married for 44 years and helped raise 11 children.
Worked for Wal*Mart at the headquartersin Bentonville, Arkansas for 14 years.
Started out a Republican and ended up a Democrat.
