Mato Ska is the name given to Martin Zehr in a traditional hunkyapi ceremony. He was a spiritual runner for Peace and Dignity Journeys in 1992 and 1996. This is an indigenous cross-continental run. In 1992, he was a Peace and Dignity runner from Philadelphia to Mexico City and in 1996 he was a Peace and Dignity runner from Tok, Alaska to Las Cruces, New Mexico.
