I'm a service brat who tired of being uprooted early on. Instead of running away from home, I stayed, and the family moved on. I dabbled in several fields, and several colleges, and finally ended up with a career on the intracoastal waters of the southeastern United States.
I am old enough to have seen Eisenhower's second inaugural parade(I was 3)and old enough to be able to compare Nixon's admistration with the current farce.Talk about choosing between cancer and polio! But at least Nixon had a grasp of world politics.
Nothing makes me happier than spending the day in the woods north of town, picking wild mushrooms and contemplating nature's unending beauty. Nothing makes me sadder than watching man ruin his own house for the short-term profit of the privileged few.
