Thanks Robert for alerting us to the attempts to keep The Shock Doctrine going in foreign countries. I think Americans can finally empathize a little since Treasury is also applying the Shock Doctrine here at home. Cutting services, laying people off, privatizing and deregulating everything has brought this country or this country's people to their knees while the Fat Cats grab the loot.
Just like rich Chileans, Russians, Indonesians, have taken the IMF money and parked it in the Cayman's while screwing the citizens, rich Americans did the same.
Time to tell these banksters to either pay up or go to jail. There are other ways to help poor nations other than making them indebted.
There is also a bad Senate bill 384 The Global Food Security Act aka Lugar/Casey that gives 7.7 B. to the biotech companies to make African farmers buy genetically modified seeds. These seeds don't work and cost 35% more than native seeds. This too is under the guise of "foreign aid". Criminal.
