Born in Hyde Park, Illinois--grew up in Kansas. Horse Trainer/Working Cowboy degreed in Equine Studies--Corrective Horse Shoer. Got hurt riding Colts and occasional Saddle Broncs at local rodeos. Studied Securities Industry and worked as a Stockbroker within Investment Banking. Left due to ethical reasons and studied the art of Luthiery--Stringed Instruments.
I was a "Typical White Person" in my youth, but thanks to my travels and experiences, I am now proud to be an "Un-typical White Person". I am however, a "Typical" Barack Obama Supporter" and proud to be associated with others who are "Typical" in sharing our beliefs that Barack can help us achieve a better America. I am Supportive of Reverand Wright, and anyone who has the backbone to be a modern day "Heretic"--he who questions authority in the truest tradition of Democracy and Christianity--he who forces the Romans to reveal themselves through thier own callousness and Hypocrisy as was told by Socrates--360BCE. I am a supporter of the U.S Constitution and those rights in which Americans enjoy, which is all that separates us, from becoming a Fascist Socialism--suppressed speech (as told by Socrates/Plato) will only lead to limited dialog in which Democracy will fail. My most sacred beliefs............Music and Musicians, speak the language of God, as Music crosses oceans of divisions amongst generations and races and breaks through the walls of segregation--Music is after all.........the oldest language known to Mankind. My greatest fear.............those people who will succeed at imposing "censorship", as opposed to dialog and discussion. Without "Free Speech", whether we agree or disagree with what is said..........is still uniquely American. "Democracy" was a Greek philosophy, taken by Rome and used by American Revolutionaries who sacrificed thier lives, so we might have a better country than what they had under King George III. Today.........many in America, have forgotten thier rights, as Thomas Jefferson in his letters to John Adams (1797) warned........"Americans will foget thier rights in thier daily sole faculty of making money, until such a time, as they will expire or revive in a convulsion"--something to that affect. I believe in the Gnostic Christian Faith--in that the "Book of Thomas" should have been included in the New Testament. "God lives within each of us" and Jesus was a great Man of Academics, but was not the only Son of God--we all are his chosen children. What do I hope for us as Americans..........the reinstatement of the Constitution, through the reversal of "Suspended Habeas Corpus". The Legal Oligarchy promoted and maintained by Lawyers in Office, has to be held to a higher purpose than the sole faculty of making money. Only a Constitutional Lawyer, can fix what his peers destroyed. As such...........I hope Barack Obama and those who divisively encourage "sound bit" menatalities through mis-interpreted Media Venues, will wake up, see the bigger picture, and help restore power back to "We, the people".
