I've always felt that if people such as Al Gore and the thousands of scientists who see global warming as man-made are wrong there will be unintended economic consequences. However if they are right it could mean the end of civilization. While the Beatles music was/is great, evidenced by 40 years of continuous airplay, their importance is they were smart enough to make artistic demands that still exist today.
